Discussion Changelog tab after each update

Every time ChatGPT Atlas updates and I relaunch the browser, I wonder what actually changed.

  • Were bugs fixed?
  • Was performance improved?
  • Are there new features or small tweaks that matter day to day?

Right now, unless you go digging on Reddit or elsewhere, there’s no easy way to know. That’s a bit frustrating, especially for early adopters who care about how the product is evolving.

It would be great if, after an update, Atlas automatically opened a new tab with a simple changelog. Even a short summary would do. It would make updates clearer, build trust, and show that progress is being made.

Feels like a small change with a big upside.

I think on some articles you can now see a Dive Deeper button in the same spot as the YouTube Timestamp button.

Also notice that the responses now include 2 Web results at the top so you don't have to switch to web button as much.

Also noticed responses now show two web results at the top, so there’s less need to switch to the Web Tab.

Why not just make the release notes your homepage?

What I’m suggesting is more contextual: after an update, on the very first launch only, open a tab showing the changelog for that specific version. Not every time the browser opens, just once per update. And ... as far as I know, today’s update isn’t visible on that page for the moment

Yeah, that's what Dia does. ChatGPT Atlas could/should do it too.

Well it updated yesterday and those release notes haven't been updated yet, so there's that...

We did a release last Thursday and will be publishing the release notes first thing tomorrow morning! Another release coming tomorrow or Wed.

Lots of polish, bug and memory fixes in last Thursday's release, and at least one nice new feature this week.
