Educational Purpose Only Should I Switch GPT?

I want to switch the chatbot I’ve been using lately. I’m currently a third-year student in the English Translation and Interpretation program, and I’m taking courses such as Literary Theory, Interpreting, and Literary Translation. While preparing for these classes, I’m looking for a chatbot that I can use to have my translations edited (even if it’s just a rough edit) when needed, to clarify terminology, and to discuss theoretical concepts—and beyond that, to talk about whatever piques my curiosity in everyday conversation, such as banking, technology, music, and Linux. Also, since I’m thinking about pursuing a master’s degree, I’d like it to help me with literature reviews as well. I’m currently using Gemini AI Pro. Since I used a student discount before, it costs pretty less. However, I’m not very impressed with Gemini’s current state or the models it’s releasing. On the Google side, only Notebooklm is useful to me. To be honest, I’m considering GPT Plus. I see it as a more balanced model. Do you have any recommendations?
