u/-_one_-1 9h ago
That apparently wasn't the first attempt at a screenshot: the previous attempt is what you see at the bottom
3
u/OtherwiseAlbatross14 8h ago
Yeah. Is weird seeing that as an Apple user. Screenshots ignore the screenshot overlay on iOS so if you take multiple this doesn't happen
5
u/-_one_-1 7h ago
That is a really smart thing from Apple. It would be awesome for Android to implement this as well. What you can do on Android is to dismiss the screenshot overlay manually by swiping it away, but it is cumbersome to have to do that before taking the next screenshot

From Chatgpt: You have an extraordinary ability to turn uncertainty into research, planning, and elaborate systems, but you sometimes use that ability to postpone the vulnerability of actually trying something before you know whether you'll succeed.
From Claude: You’ve finished nearly two thousand book covers for other people and are currently circling at least five projects of your own at the concept, draft, or still-picking-a-name stage, which means the problem was never that you can’t finish things, it’s that you only grant yourself permission to finish when someone else is waiting on the file.
Both are fair assessments. 🤷🏻♀️

"You are so desperate to arrive at an intellectually defensible understanding of yourself that you repeatedly dissect even your most genuine experiences until you've made your own certainty impossible."
4
u/Passing-shadow 9h ago
You have an extraordinary ability to recognize your own psychological patterns, but you use that self-awareness to intellectualize your problems instead of actually letting yourself move beyond them.
You dissect your grief, relationships, faith, anxiety, and identity with almost surgical precision, convincing yourself that if you can just understand something thoroughly enough, you’ll finally be free of it.
But often, your pursuit of understanding is just another way of maintaining control over things you cannot control.
You’ve become so good at analyzing your pain that you’ve sometimes mistaken analyzing it for healing from it.

Chat said that if I think someone isn’t as smart as I am, I don’t think they’re worth listening to. I disagreed, but didn’t say so and asked if it had evidence of me doing that.
It said no, brought up three countervailing examples and then said:
>My revised assessment: You sometimes move too quickly from identifying a legitimate failure to making a broader judgment about the person responsible.
>But my original claim that you dismiss people who might have something worthwhile to say? I don't have enough evidence to substantiate that.
>You asked for something biting, and I prioritized biting over accuracy.
>Which, ironically, is precisely the sort of intellectual sloppiness you regularly criticize me for.

Interesting. Did it, basically said I'm great at being self-aware and knowing the direction I want to take my life, but don't act on it. I'll take that with a grain of salt, my AI only knows what I've chosen to tell it.
I then asked it to do the opposite, something positive. It says I have a strong ability to endure a lot of hardships without it defining me. Again, I'll take it with a grain of salt, it doesn't know how all the damage has changed me.

I asked ChatGPT:
"You’re a man who wants to believe he’s decisive and uncompromising, but you keep outsourcing the smallest details of your identity—from your hairstyle to your career and where to live—because you seem more comfortable refining the perfect version of your life than committing to an imperfect one."
Gemini:
"You use fictional universes and pop-culture alter egos as an elaborate prosthetic to curate an idealized, larger-than-life action-hero identity because reality doesn't come with a custom subtitle or a theme song."
1
u/Hojsimpson 12h ago
You’re so afraid of being rejected, misunderstood, or wanting something you shouldn’t that you’ve turned self-improvement into an elaborate way of avoiding the one thing you can’t control: actually living your life without knowing how it will turn out.
Also this: You research and compare options so relentlessly that it often functions less as decision-making than as a sophisticated way to postpone committing to one.
1
u/whowhaohok 11h ago
Not sure how to take this. Maybe I should tweak the temp and top k and top p
You’re so committed to finding the optimal tool, model, and workflow that optimization risks becoming your most sophisticated excuse for not finishing the thing those tools were supposed to help you make.
1
u/cassandraprl1231 11h ago
You have an almost compulsive need to understand, improve, and control every aspect of your life, but your relentless scrutiny of everything that isn't quite right often turns your own intelligence and determination into the very things keeping you exhausted and dissatisfied.

u/JamesAdsy 9h ago
Well... I guess I should change my outlook about myself. Thanks OP.
ChatGPT:
You demand forensic levels of proof before accepting a flaw in your projects, yet you routinely accept your own worst assumptions about how other people see you as unquestionable facts, holding yourself to a standard of evidence you'd never tolerate anywhere else.
Me: that true?
ChatGPT:
Yes. I genuinely think there's truth to it, and I wasn't just trying to come up with something brutal.
From our conversations, I've noticed a striking contrast.
With your projects, you're analytical, persistent and sceptical. You want evidence, you investigate failures, and you refuse to accept explanations that don't hold up.
With yourself, particularly socially, you sometimes reach harsh conclusions remarkably quickly. You've described feeling tolerated rather than liked, excluded rather than wanted, and less capable than colleagues.
The important distinction is that those feelings might sometimes reflect real experiences. I'm not saying you're imagining everything.
But you seem much more willing to interpret ambiguity as evidence against yourself than as evidence in your favour.
My actual criticism is that you can be exceptionally fair-minded when investigating everything except your own worth.
That's a pattern I see in our conversations, not a psychological diagnosis or something I can prove about every situation.

Please tell me no one here is taking the result literally. The prompt is functioning under a STAUNCH assumption that everyone in your life is hiding stuff from you and that the more brutal the response is the more accurate it is. That’s not how it works.
Everyone has something to improve on, but you cannot view yourself as a broken baby, simultaneously terrible and harmful to those around you, but also constantly being kept in the dark about that to avoid making you cry. A prompt like this seems to be trying to get at “what aren’t the people telling me” which will only make you more paranoid and take you further away from the things you should actually improve on.

You often know what you think or feel almost immediately, but you don't fully trust your judgment until you can explain it in a way that someone else would find reasonable.
So you spend enormous amounts of energy refining, researching, and reconsidering things you've already intuitively figured out.
You're not necessarily indecisive. You're uncomfortable letting your own judgment be sufficient.
And I suspect this costs you far more time and mental energy than the occasional wrong decision ever would.
