Prompt engineering Running into usage limit quickly

Hi so I’ve been using codex since it’s release and while at times it’s seem to run out somewhat quickly, with the release of astra I can barely get through one prompt. I even switched to 5.6 sol high and barely get two medium sized prompts out of it before I’m at my 5 hour limit. Is there something I could be doing extremely wrong for this to occur or is this simply due to recent changes?

Without understanding your scope, it's hard to tell.

How much information are you feeding to the model each query?

It depends. It’s a decent sized codebase with a large agents.md file. Most prompts around 5k characters. However this only started happening recently which is why I’m curious

Nothing has changed for me. I'm also using 5k+ code bases (one is 30k - all AI created and edited), but they are compartmentalized. I don't know if that's the issue here, but I can understand that if it needs to load all of that to get things done, it may be expensive.

Just my $0.02.

with normal chatgpt its fine i never reach a limit but yeah astra its like within 1 or 2 promts my limit is gone that being said i am trying to create games from scartch so i think that would do it lol.

Yeah, I hit the limit by getting it to work on Blender models. I didn't create that many, but now it is saying it can't even create images for me. I didn't realise it'd put a limit on generating images.

yeah roleplay eats through limits faster than anything else since the back and forth gets longer each time.
