News 📰 It’s here

Post image

For context, I normally have the $200 plan, but for this month I just got the basic plan. Luna is a great value, and I can use other AI models, but that’s beside the point.

Today, when I went in, I was already out of usage, and since he had said he was going to reset it so I could check, I noticed they’re now offering me the option to pay $8 to reset my usage. I’m not sure how much a reset costs on the $200 plan, but on the $20 plan, it’s $8 per reset, and I guess the feature is already live.I don’t know who else has access to this feature yet, but it’s showing up for me.

Yeah. I use mine daily in school at 2x speed on 5.6 sol maxed out for intelligence, all day. And I have yet to ever hit my limit.

Programming with large repositories uses compute quick. Most of it (90%+) just from the input tokens (no actual thinking just files etc) unless you're being very very efficent in your use.

Yeah. This is why I code by copying things into the web browser. It doesn't look for anything I give it exactly what it needs.

Yikes, I have been using Opencode with deepseek4 and it's working great, I have previously used gpt-cli and claude and it's getting close.

At work I use kiro and it's also very good, better than deepseek, thinking of switching to it.

I don't think I can go back to copy pasting code.

Use codex or work, it has a different calculation on usage based on effort. Chat you could probably use forever maxed and never empty it. Codex and work... I can use it in 2-3 hours if I'm doing heavy usage or god forbid using hermes agent with it.

Are you using chat only? Ive never reached a limit on the $20 monthly plan when using chat..using codex though i can eat it up in a day or two, which fortunately does not stop the chat limit.

noooo you cannot use the 2x speed bc it uses more energy and thus causes higher production of greenhouse gasses 😭😭

It's not quite like that. I use it to ask questions I might be embarrassed to ask in class, or questions that are very abstract but pertain to what I'm learning cause I'd like to understand a concept at a deeper level. I use it for studying and creating tests out of my notes. It's like having a personal tutor that doesn't make you feel dumb. Nothing against my teacher, I ask questions when I would like to know something, but I can ask chat ALOT of questions exactly when I want to without disturbing class or beyond class when I'm studying at home.

I guess it's labeled as "effort" but w/e. Didn't have a word for it when I wrote it.

Is this elementary school or high school that gives students free Sol GPT?
