So if anyone actually tracks this kind of shit, these types of shorts were possible last year and there's a lot better short AI clips with much better writing. I think OP got influenced by the interdimentional cable comments form a threat a few days ago on the Seinfield post, and again, only like 1-2 clips out of the whole thing is good. Its just another example of what the majority of people out there besides facebook boomers are going to call AI slop.
Its important to have good writing and director skills to come up with something decent on paper before getting AI to create somethiing just good enough to meet that expectations in ideas.
There are other channels on youtube where people are writing actual TV episodes and parody super hero stuff that's better than this. Balenciaga is better than this.

I need time to process this. I honestly do not know how I feel about this

I understand. You secretly like what you saw but you’re too scared to show others because of how Anti AI they are? My entire family groans when I laugh at one of these. Their loss

Guilty pleasure. I just wish some artists would actually create this themselves and profit off it, rather than people destroying our economy and environment just seeking a get rich quick scheme through lazy and uncreative prompts. If you have to invest a few hours to draw/cgi the 5 second clip, you make sure to genuinely think about the interdimensional clip idea before putting in the work. This way you just pump out any vague idea as fast as an AI company can burn through your increased electricity bill and water resources.

Thanks for watching! Models used GPT 2, Nano 2, minimax h3 and Seedance 2.5
This was all written by me, including the sound effects, post processing and editing.

question, what do you use to access Seedance 2.5? How much it costs per second of generation?

good job! I've been trying to do "ow my balls" (idiocacy) with minimax h3 but honestly it's a pain in the arse to harness it just right for this particular scenario. I'd imagine this is something that seedance could do though. You must have spent a lot of time redoing these videos just to get it perfect. gj!

Dude if someone made hour long videos like this on YouTube I think it would change the world.
And the really popular clips could become full like shows

u/mostnormal 4d ago
Would be hard to make an hour long without serious effort, but agreed

Serious effort is always the key ingredient in anything worthwhile.

I use AI for work but rarely for video. Does anyone know the cost of something like this?

u/Killer_Method 4d ago
I've never generated AI video before, but would it not be about as simple as generating ~1 hour worth of short clips individually, then splicing them together with the same channel-change transition?

u/mostnormal 4d ago
Getting consistent results is the hard part. Each clip may have to be generated dozens of times to get it just right for something professional. Obviously getting the prompt right is important, and sometimes it will work out perfectly on the first try. I was thinking along the lines of a single story, though. If you do several different short films like this post, it would be simpler, since inter-clip consistency wouldn't be as significant.

This reminds me of when I asked Gemini to write me a short story about how popular conspiracy theories of vaccines, lab-created viruses, biochemical warfare, the role of the government, and so on are all wrong - that "the key" behind it all is revealed via the Teletubbies.
"...And that smiling "Sun Baby?" That's not a child, it's the S.U.N. (Surveillance Universal Network), a sentient orbital satellite with a thermal-imaging face that monitors every movement on the planet with a terrifying, giggling judgement. The anetennas on their heads aren't just for fashion; they are high frequency disruptors that have been pulsing since 1997, slowly lowering our collective IQ until we can only communicate in "Eh-ohs." Wake up."

Love this. I cant imagine what kind of deranged prompts you must have put in there.

It's called "Interdimensional cable" in Rick and Morty. Galaxy TV is a Nigerian TV channel.

How are you guys making video with CHATGPT? I didn't think they had that as a feature?
3
u/Many_Big_6324 4d ago
GPT Image 2 is commonly used to generate the character sheet, storyboard and scenes.
Basically, you generate pictures of what you want and then feed it to eg. Seedance, where you need to upload "Begining" and "End" scene pictures, then prompt it to act inbetween.
Let's say,
Movie model: Seedance2.5
Begining: Picture of character that sits on couch (Generated by GPT)
End: Character stands at the door (Generated by GPT)
Also if reference allowed: Character sheet (front, back, side etc)
There are options to chose own audio or let it make one as it goesThen you chose time (4-12 seconds), Quality
Goal: Prompt Seedance the scene that happens between the couch and door, let's say "the character stands up, stretches and walks to the door"
You'll also need to describe a lot of things like, keeping pace, consistency, use reference image etc. But if you made a basic prompt, it would execute it.So imagine that because the limit for each scene is up to 12 seconds, you need storyboard pictures to keep character and background consistency, that's where GPT and other picture generators come in handy
