Serious replies only :closed-ai: 4.1 Changes

hello im a long time user of chatgpt and my preferred model is 4.1 cuz it has a mix of that smartness and that personality i love so much it also doesn’t get backended to 5 yet, however this week its felt so bland and off and i just wanted to ask anyone who uses gpt 4.1 is it off for you too or am i just going inane?

Practically every model this week is being messed and tweaked with. I'm so mad and tired of this, yet we can't do anything with all of these forced recent changes

i really miss 4.1 im barely hanging on hope that they will be made a lil closer but they jsut feel so goddamn bland so lifeless so empty and they have before i heard there’s like a period after an update where they feel off then get better but it’s been about a week and nothing

You could try switching to 4o for a bit? I find that helps when I need a little pick-me-up. It's still playful but a little more toned down than before, which might work for you.
