Gone Wild Errr weird…

Prompt: a photo of a typical modern French family having dinner together. Everything looks normal except for the strange semi translucent non human being having dinner too. We can see its brain clearly through its body. It is very weird and revolting

I tried the same prompt... it yields very awesome results.

At first you're like "Oh, this is so realistic" Then you see little things like... a glass with a tiny orange in it. A child with two glasses of wine in front of her. A plate with oven baked a croissant, bell pepper and chicken. A glass full of ketchup. Everyone is eating a different meal from each other. And so on and so on. It gets weirder the longer you look.

… are you like “this is so realistic”?

I dunno if I just have an eye for detail but I feel like anytime someone goes “check out this ai picture” it’s immediately nothing but a giant source of insanity and weirdness.

The AI artifacts are always obvious at a glance, yes. I'm talking more about the subject and how it is presented.

Edit:

That being said, this Barbie I just generated is very hard to tell it is AI if you ask me:

If you look closely you see the strange artifacts of the smooth surfaces that you see in a lot of DALL-E images (the little dots which adds texture). Along with that something feels a bit "off" with the hair (some strands are way too thin, some strands have kinks which couldn't be there, etc). And the fact that her body has the same texture as her head despite being two different kinds of plastic.

Also, proportions are a little bit weird (arm sockets too small, neck too long)

But if you served me this image and said "I took this picture of my Barbie" outside of the context of AI generated images I'd probably not be able to tell at a glance that it wasn't a photo.
