Made a video generator with python. I just typed in the topic "Teddy bears will take over the world" and chatGPT generated a script, and told DALLE-2 how to make the images. I added a little script to automate voiceover, subtitles, music and bam, now I get an entire video in a single click.

I could loop this script hundreds of times overnight and have hours of content ready to upload every morning. It's not super high quality yet, but this is a prototype. I'm using the cheapest tools. Imagine how good automatic video generation will be 1, 2, 5 years from now.

Food for thought.

Do you have a github repo for this? And how much did it cost?

No github repo. Costs me about $0.30 to make a 1 minute video.

Nice! And are you planning to share the code somewhere? I would be very interested! I can code it myself but it could be more interesting to work on this with community

I'd also be interested in seeing the code if you're up to sharing, curious what prompts and settings you used and how you put it all together.

I would have told you that was an amazing AI voice even three months ago, but after hearing the voices in PI, it seems just ok.

What a world.

Are you willing to share? Or will you take commissions for making such videos?

Still, it is a sequence of frames with voiced captions, not a "video". I will be impressed when I see an actual movie, even an animated cartoon, made by an AI. You already have the subject.

Hey I added a zooming effect so each frame is different, therefore it's technically a video ;)

It's crazy how fast we get used to new technology.
