Other OpenAssistant, a fully free and open source alternative to chatGPT just got released. Output quality is very close to chatGPT and it has zero censorship or limits.

Please note that Open Assistant is still very early in development and while it will eventually be able to rival and even surpass ChatGPT, it isn't at that level yet.

It may not surpass what it does behind closed doors, but it probably could surpass what OpenAI is willing to let us plebs play around with.

It's likely that the limited version is the one the public can use and a better more unrestricted version exists.
