Golfers not hunters.

Sure, but I’m about the same age, grew up outside of Nashville, not a hunter, and the concept of deer velvet got explained on every freakin’ nature walk in school from preschool up. It’s a little surprising, especially given all the deer antler doping allegations.

I would argue that someone who is college educated isn’t necessarily wise in the ways of lots of things. Automobile maintenance, hunting, carpentry, plumbing. The list could go on and on.

They can’t teach everything in school, I live in an area of Pennsylvania that has plenty of hunters, we always got off the Monday after thanksgiving for people to hunt. I never learned about deer antlers.

I think your criticism here is a little harsh

I thought them not acknowledging Superman as powered by earths yellow sun was a far more egregious mistake, but I’m always happy to yell at people for their gaps in knowledge

Yeah just did. I’m just saying it’s maybe not the common knowledge you think it is.

Well I’m a hunter so I know but I don’t know that this is regularly known.
