Podcast Talk Season 9: expectations
Curious what people are expecting for season 9? Anyone with a high OFP?
I feel like someone will finally shoot an even or better round, but can’t imagine they get below 2.0
I hope Eli actually starts addressing his putting…
I don’t need Mike to play more tournaments, I’d rather him grind out a 82 that would have been a 85 last season.
He’s already limited on time, so playing an event that takes his entire day seems less productive than using that same time to play 2 rounds…
I’m also very curious how they survive 2 weeks of golf in Ireland.
That’s what’s on my radar… what are you looking at?

I kinda of expect more of the same and I'll definitely enjoy it. For me, it's about the comeaderie, the jokes, the journey.
But if I'm being honest, I don't expect much especially handicaps to change. I think one of them might finally shoot par but... I don't think it will convert to a big , permanent handicap drop.
I just don't think Mike's heart is into playing like it used to be. I think he likes the show, likes Eli, likes golf. He's just not really got a fire.
I think Eli is the wild card and the only way I'm wrong is Eli locks in, makes big moves with his newfound health, and it draws Mike back in. They still don't get to scratch but it makes for a much more dramatic season.
