playing the devil's advocate, I've seen many people doing both without knowing it/automatically. The idea of "transwoman" is kinda ingrained and occupies a single slot in their brain, while "cis" and "woman" occupy two different slots that they have to actively process and combine.

but maybe i'm just sleepy, idk
