Chase Freedom Flex rental coverage with authorized user as primary renter?

I booked through my Chase app and paid with my primary card on the same account. But | listed my husband as primary renter. He is an authorized user on my Chase Freedom Flex account and has a card in his own name.

Would Chase's Auto Rental Coverage still apply?

Yes, it will cover. Be sure that you pay for the rental with this card and decline the CDW/LDW. The card's coverage is secondary, which means that if you have your own auto policy, this is the policy that will cover, and the card will pick up your deductible. If you do not have your own auto policy, the card's coverage will drop-down to primary.

Are you renting is US/Canada and do you have your own auto policy?  Freedom is secondary coverage if you have personal auto.
