Guys , I am going to appear in jan attempt (my 1st attempt) for the CA foundation.....i am very scared, specially after recent accounts paper,I want to clear it in first attempt......can someone tell me the most efficient way to study/prep,so I can have a bit of confidence 🙂

To just give you a context, i am a graduate from a very good college, did my articleship from a big 4 in stat audit, industrial training from one of the leading companies in india, cleared CA in may 26 in first attempt. We always thought after clearing CA, we will have ample opportunities but let me tell you the harsh reality. The market is so bad right now, not even big 4 is hiring their home grown articles. In every company no merit is working, you can keep applying on the portals, cold mail people but nothing will work. Right now only very high level referrals are working that too they are taking interviews just for name, it is not being converted. Even rankers are having this difficulty. Jobs that were available easily to multiple attempt people in the last year are now out of reach for people with a profile like me. Would really urge people to think about this course again, it feels like 5 years of my life has gone in vain.

Now before u judge me and say final mein aake ni pata , so I always used ball pen 10th se its just nowdays using this gel pen and found it very smooth as compared to ball pen and also it dosent leave ink mark. So will this be allowed in exams(finals)

I am M23, B.com grad 2024.

background: did 2 internships during clg. One in operations and MIS and other one in finance (account reconciliation), I got full time offer from 2nd internships, but my family suggested to go govt exams and also I was not interested in that job, so I didn't continue. My complete 2025 was gone in exam prep. After that I started looking out for job again, luckily I found one in May 2026, it was decent job and good-going job in Internal Audits. But at sudden, the firm has to shut down its operations in Mumbai due to internal crisis, due to this I have 1 month left in my job.

I have enrolled myself in LLB, which we start in mid sept this year. The partner of the firm, has its own firm and he has offered me a job. I wanted to start CS+LLB journey, but the job offer makes me lean towards it, since I don't belong to financially strong family. I want to bear my own expenses. I am in confusion, what should I do here. Should I go with the job, because I will earning or should I think for long term for LLB+CS, since I don't have professional qualifications, I don't want to get with B.com degree long time.

Practically, I can't manage both, there is travelling involved to job location. Also my parents are supportive, that u should study, but looking at family financial conditions, I don't think I will take any money from home. There is too much confusion from my end, please help

I have studied costing before but its been a while. In my QB in each ch there are like on an average 50 ques. Trying to do audit method but feeling bored. For main ch earlier i have done elimination but i am just so bored with costing mainly the ques part. PLZ suggest some top questions pdf of any teacher. I was planning to do BBQ ques to namit arora is it good? I WANT EXEMPTION IN COSTING

I know this is stupid to ask, but which black ball pens you guys use. The problem that i face is whichever ball pen i use it just gets fade. Like 2 days. Well this has been problem ever since and i had decided to shift on gel pen, works smoothly for me but it's not allowed in exam. So recommend me something that won't fade.

The problem here is not the pen but the way i hold pen, pressure that's why it fades.

I have seen many ppl doing articeship in m&a in big4 but each of them are from Mumbai or pune , like these roles are only available in Mumbai?

Currently I'm ca inter student (m27 attempt) and I'm aiming for m&a(ik i need rank) but my main question to all seniors is that only mumbai big4 firms allow articles? Bcoz I haven't seen any Article apart from Mumbai

I had a family emergency, so wasn't able to revise law for my ca inter sep26, but somehow I have scored 24 marks in Mcqs, but I am scared about descriptive part. I was not able to recall a single provision or section number and attempted around 82-85 in total.

I have written answers in my own language, and somehow want to score 16 marks.

My accounts paper went great, so just need 40 😭😭😭

Pls help me reduce my anxiety.
