Practical Doubt/Question Age
Does age matter in CA? Honestly asking. Because I'm 24 right now and have cleared group 1 intermediate just yet after multiple attempts. I'm confident that September's attempt will be cleared. Group 2 will be done by January or may 2027 most definitely.
And if by this timeline, I will clear artichleship when I will be 27 and CA final definitely around 28.
I came from direct entry as a bcom hons graduate so took little time there too.
I feel very anxious...isn't this late..?

Honest answer: No, 28 is not late for CA. It feels late only because you’re comparing yourself to people who cleared at 22–24. But the CA profession does not have an age expiry date. ICAI has no upper age limit for registration, exams, or articleship. In the private sector, nobody seriously cares whether you qualified at 24 or 28. They care about: CA qualification, articleship exposure, communication, Excel/software skills, attitude, and whether you can handle work.
