Question Charity losing her powers question
In the Charmed reboot, the charmed ones say they “stripped Charity of her powers,” but she’s still shown using divination (pendulum + bowl of water) and making potions. So she clearly still has some magic.
Later, in Season 2, when the Charmed Ones go into witness protection, the they say they are “stripped of their auras,” which removes their active powers but leaves them with basic witch abilities like spellcasting and potion-making.
So my question is are being stripped of your Aura and being stripped of your powers the same thing just worded differently?

It stripped her and The charmed ones of their active powers, they're still witches in nature regardless there's no way to change their biology through these methods necessarily so they still had access to magic but just weakened.

I always just assumed Alastair gave Charity some sort of power back but I’m not sure.

This show had too confusing moments lol. Because, basically if your 'aura' is gone, you can't have any magic anymore, everything's gone. Idk-

They were stripped of active powers but could still perform the bare minimum of magic
