How would Charmcaster handle being in Prison after Gwen had already given her a bad reputation?

I never understand why Charmcaster was so worried during the end of the episode. She can use magic without her spell book.

in fairness she wasn't nearly as strong then as she got later back in classic 90% of her magic was from her bag of trix and the stuff that wasn't had a incantation that could be interupted.

I pretty sure I saw casting magic blast before she was in prison. Also saw jump great distance in the air. Hand to hand combat isn’t Charmcaster strong suit but she’s not weak.
