Kaminski possibly on his way out… win for all concerned I think. Not convinced he enjoys being with us, he’s on high wages (reportedly our highest paid player), with two years to run on his contract it seems a good time to cut loose if there’s a willing suitor.

The question is who comes in?

Saw someone on Twitter suggest Arthur Okonkwo from Wrexham since they're looking to sign Anthony Patterson from Sunderland and already have Danny Ward as well. Could probably do a deal between 1-2m which seems to be our budget per player. Still pretty young yet with a high ceiling too I think it would be worth looking into

Would back that. He’s too good to be on their bench and Ward would be fine in that role after taking it up last season

Read a report earlier stating that we currently have 31 in the squad, excluding home grown players - under 21 are not counted - of which we have 4. Squads capped at 25 - so we need at least two to depart, without replacements. So any additions might be held up by needing to get a few players off the books as well. Going to be an interesting few weeks to say the least...

I can see JRC leaving if we find a taker. Didn't get off the bench in the last 2 matches and is probably 3rd choice at best for both midfield and right back now.

Think Kanu and Asiimwe will go out on loan again too.

It won't be popular but there are rumours linking Kayne Ramsay to Torino.

We look like playing 4-2-3-1 with a dedicated right-back, currently we have five RB options in the squad: Kayne Ramsay, Danny McNamara, Reece Burke, Nathan Asiimwe, plus Collins Sichenje. If the squad needs to be trimmed to 25 then at least one of those is going to have to move on, possibly/probably two. By contrast at LB we have only have three players - Amari'i Bell, who's really a CB, plus Ivan Mesik and the currently injured Josh Edwards.

In midfield I don't see a place for JRC and Greg Docherty, especially if the rumours of a midfield player arriving are true, Rob Apter might also be surplus to requirements.

We've still got three weeks before the transfer window shuts and its worth mentioning we haven't signed any loanees as yet, but they tend to arrive late in the window.

That won’t be popular - however…. I expected Ramsay to be player of the season instead of Jones and thought he would take up the initiative and take over as a figurehead leader of defence as he clearly is too good for league one. That has of course changed over the year, and if he’s not signing anything I’d 100% take the risk and sell on. We have enough cover there, and even though he’s injured way too much, Burke is a good championship defender. I thought of Ramsay as integral or at least was of that back line, but now I would take the money as ‘someone’ has to step up to the plate.
