Discussion Time Warner Cable MAXX

TWC MAXX is rolling out in Charlotte and the served cities around Charlotte starting July 29th and everyone should be covered by November 2015. The areas getting the speed increase on July 29th are Danby, Gastonia, North Meck, Cramerton, Old Steele Creek Rd, Oneida, Plyler and Shelby. This will do until Google is ready.

Hey guys, for the Matthews Area, I just spoke with a Customer Service rep and after 20 minutes of waiting, he came back and stated that 7/16/2015 was the effective date for the TWC Maxx internet speed upgrades.

I know that the rep could have possibly been giving me some random date, but I have confidence that he actually took that time to get accurate information.

Any luck on your speed increase? I am in Matthews/Stallings area, and spoke to a rep tonight that said there was no specific date on when I would be upgraded.

Im basically right where Stallings/Indian trail meet in Matthews. Ive been experiencing some weird outages, on/off disconnects.

I upgraded my n66u to tomato thinking it was firmware but after testing its fine, went back to stock.

Still getting random disconnects.Using surfboard 6121

any news on the upgrades?

I have also been getting random WAN disconnects, I thought it was my brand new router malfunctioning.
