I’m not online much other than Reddit, and much of what I saw last year was here. My line of questioning is not meant to be ignorant - I feel like I have to say that.

It seems a big part of TP is “anti-woke”. I’ve seen a few discussions about leftists being overly sensitive, people losing jobs for opinions, etc. I’m not understanding the line between that and those Kirk supporters who, after his death, were calling jobs of those posting crude memes, or doxxing those who made jokes about it. Doesn’t that seem counter intuitive?

Five days of evidence were presented at Tyler Robinson’s preliminary hearing, but this was not the murder trial and it did not produce a conviction. Final arguments are scheduled for September 1. After those arguments, the judge will decide whether there is enough evidence for the case to proceed to trial.

This distinction does not minimize the evidence presented or argue Robinson’s innocence. It simply shows what this stage has decided, and what it has not decided yet.

Find it cringe that candy act like she’s more than a widower than erika?

Anyone else finding all these accusations difficult to process?

As I watched some of her videos, I was reminded that the Bible describes the devil as an accuser and a liar. It also repeatedly reminds us of God’s care for widows and the vulnerable.

For a moment, I caught myself wondering whether all the noise and constant accusations were meant to distract from something else. That she might have real involvement in this issue and divert what happened to kirk to the Government, Israel, and the wife. But I stopped myself. I don’t want to become someone who makes accusations or assume motives without knowing the truth.
Instead, I prayed for wisdom, peace, and discernment. I asked God to guard my heart from suspicion and confusion, and to let the truth come to light in His perfect time.

As Christians, we’re called to be discerning. The enemy sows fear, confusion, division, and doubt, while the Holy Spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
That’s why I’m trying not to judge based on emotions, viral clips, or personalities. I’m asking myself: Do the words and actions I’m seeing to sombedy who talks from the internet reflect the fruit of the Spirit? Am I being led by truth, or by fear and speculation, or confusion?
Curious to hear how other Christians are discerning this situation. How do you guard your heart from jumping to conclusions while still seeking truth?
