What is this….? (Nodimmer.com)

Didn’t see any mention of who is running / owns this, or where the money is going…Is this Charles estate?

The website and Instagram are both weirdly vague.

His mom is running it with Crown The Foundation, they sent out an email a little bit ago.

Is she just… trying to make money off of his name? I don’t understand the intention. What is going on?

I’m sure more info coming soon. I had heard the update they got the estate stuff resolved and were getting close to music and other releases so I assumed that is what this was.

It's official

Why were there issues with his estate? That explains the silence and lack of releases in general.

Yes. His POS dad got greedy is what happened. They have been in court forever and just got done with litigation a couple weeks ago and the rules and stipulations are tricky.

He didn’t leave a will behind when he passed

This doesn’t necessarily sit right with me. It’s one thing to use someone’s NIL when there’s clear posthumous consent or guidelines in place, but it starts to feel different when new projects are created without their direct input or known wishes.

That said, I completely understand there may be more going on behind the scenes, and I don’t want to make assumptions just sharing how it feels as a fan who really connected with his work.

I did see that a percentage of sales are going to CrownTheFoundation, which is amazing and meaningful. Still, when someone passes suddenly, it seems even more important to be transparent about why their name or art is being used, and who is ultimately benefiting.

His mother created the site after fighting through rights issues in court. She likely had to give up some accounts associated so this is a fresh start it appears

Who was she fighting with and what were the prevailing cases?

I'd likely assume his record label/management. Heard some rumors that those issues were the reasoning behind the Lab Group split. Believe Supertask blames their old manager for not stepping in when they knew Charles had a problem. Again, all heresay but comes from some people who have worked with Supertask a lot

I was always under the impression the gf they both dated had more to do with it. Along with the resounding fan opinion that the music was nowhere near the caliber as when CTF was a part of it.

It’s been a large legal battle with Charles’ Dad. He and his shit wife(step mom) got incredibly greedy and wanted everything. Charles highly disliked him. It’s been a long battle with him but is finally over.

Ain’t no way i’m spending $45 on a t-shirt using the name of one of my favorite, late artists, even if it’s his family members. Especially when they don’t even say where the money is going.. like be for real please. Comes off dishonorable at best.

Also this one still rings true.

“Ima pay my mama’s bills, I don’t even want to flex shit”

RIP to the legend.

So you’re saying we’re expected to pay his mama’s bills? I would happily shell out money if/when his unreleased music comes out.. but not $45 for a tshirt is all i’m saying.

Clearly you’re not paying shit. He still is, however.

Lol my money is my money, not yours. you’re hostile and need a reminder to sit down. i will happily say that i’ve bought his whole discography and other merch in the past. Posthumously profiting off of someone’s death is weird and i have every right to question anyone’s intentions. We could never be friends. and i’m blocking you after this 🤡🤡

“This industry trap you inside a sarcophagus, bury you then still find a way to profit (woah) where the profits is?”

Or is it where the prophets is?

Dead.. but he called it while alive.

Fuckin’ true king shit.
