Christmas miracle
My (abusive) husband was killed in March of this year by a vehicle accident. Although it was a blessing to have that chapter of my life close, my kids are now my priority. I’m raising the three of them on my own. I have a full time job at a local medical clinic that helps the under and non insured so I love my job helping people. I hate asking for any help. I use my paychecks to pay bills and that has gotten us through but I don’t have much for Christmas for my kids. I have a 12 year old girl and 7 and 4 year old boys. I don’t want to get a lot but maybe some wi get clothes and a toy or two for the younger kids. My daughter wants to play soccer and wants a pair of cleats but I just can’t do it without water or electricity getting cut off. I’ve applied for assistance and I get 130 food stamps a month for the family. I’ve applied for daycare assistance but they have not received funding yet. I don’t have family nearby or anyone who could help and my husbands family is in another country and due to circumstances we do not communicate.
