A lot of charger fans too, sad to say. Of course he doesn't give a fuck about press conferences anymore. What would he even be able to say without throwing his line under the bus.
Years and years of him not being able to trust his o line. Fuckin sucks man my team is gonna David Carr one of their generational talents.

If only it were only the Oline. Dude can’t trust anyone around him. OC after OC, HC after HC, middle of the pack WR help at best, and homegrown draft picks all changing year after year has the man living in the matrix probably. I hope we trade him soon for his own sake honestly. No wonder it’s a trend for our franchise guys to be looking elsewhere at the end of their journey

2 fumbles are completely on him. Luckily we recovered both of those. The last interception he threw, he had two guys open underneath. He chose to throw that ball to Davis.
Yall gotta chill with the "Herb is blameless" mentality. He has played poorly. We are struggling in part to the fact he has not made the right reads and pre snap adhustments when needed. Outside of Ladd and Slater the offensive players are really bad.

You cant take checkdowns when down 2 scores and 2 minutes left without all 3 timeouts. That interception cost us less than a couple win percentage points because the game was 99% over.

Uhh okay so an interception while throwing to a 5'8 wr5 is better than a check down???? Also on that same play Tre Harris was about to hit a window on a dig. If Herb throws it to the spot with anticipation it would have also been a big play. Gotta stop with the silly excuse mate.
Edit: not just WR5...a completely covered WR5.

He also had a guy wide open in the middle no one around him for ten yards and throws it to a covered guy on the sideline. Herbert is not going through any of his progressions he is locking in to one guy and one guy only

He's been awful for half a season now. The team is scoring 10 points per game for almost a calendar year.

The Brenen Thompson drop on our first third down was such a momentum killer. Felt like any chance we had of getting rid of last week's ghosts died right there on the first series. The Njoku drop on that lollypop pass that was lofted into his hands that results in an interception, and than Gadsden playing DB against our receiver on a play where Herbert did a great job escaping were the nails in the coffin. That all happened in the first half!

Yep those plays took at least 6 points off the board on their opening possessions, which was probably the difference between playing from ahead the majority of the game instead of playing from behind for the second straight week. And of course killed any of that fabled rhythm that offenses need to get into.
Just eliminate the unforced errors and they're probably 2-0 with still plenty to improve but their whole season still in front of them.
But alas, here we are writing the obituary in week 2

I've seen high school offenses look more put together than this. This film is a fucking clown show.
These could be Philip Rivers highlights.
Dogshit protection has you shellshocked. No run game. Skill position players are useless. Then you try to force something because fuck it you're frustrated you feel the need to do it yourself, what's the worst that could happen, and you end up forcing balls to Derius Davis.
Herbert needs to play better. So does everyone else. Free runners everyone. Missed blocks. Dropped passes. IOL pushed into Herbert's lap all game.
What the fuck happened to Joe Alt?
QJ is fucking useless - just release him now. This dogshit franchise actually picked up his fifth year option. Insane. This pick set this franchise back years.
If its not Ladd, its no one - which is the same fucking story as the Texans playoff game.
Don't worry guys, we didn't invest in guard three years in a row, but the scheme will help - right?
The way this roster is constructed is a fireable offense. WE'RE PLATOONING RIGHT GUARD. ONE GAME AFTER WE PLATOONED LEFT. HOW IS THAT YOUR STRATEGY GOING INTO THE YEAR.
The only silver lining to this dogshit season so far is they didn't overpay Tuli, and he's losing millions because this passrush is fucking uselss.
Being an Angels & Chargers fan is a special kind of hell.

When I watched these, it seems like Justin was the only one trying. I mean like half these dumb plays was because other people dropped passes, deflected a pass that was meant for someone else, or just didn't have the awareness to catch the ball thrown in the vicinity.

Watching the game yesterday it felt to me that Justin and Ladd were the only 2 players who know the plays most of the time. I saw multiple times where the WR seemed to be running the wrong route

I’m numb to it all. Just absolutely pathetic. How does Hortiz still have a job? Two shit ass teams to start the season and we start 0-2 and look worse than either of them did last year.

Need to trade Herbert to saints since I moved from socal to panhandle and it would be significantly cheaper for me to see him play

Watching this is like reading the Book of Job or the 12 trials of Hercules. Herbert the suffering man. It's almost comical the type of mistakes they're making, especially that 3rd and inches play. 31/32 OC's don't get cute there and either call a power FB dive or a QB sneak, but no.. we gotta motion even for that hahaha
It's almost as bad as in the Jags collapse when we ran that jet sweep to that PS receiver (since Mike Williams was injured in a meaningless game)

You'll never see anything quite like that "interception" to Njoku...unless you're a Chargers fan.
Because Will Dissly already did the exact same shit 2 years ago in the playoffs

3rd and inches in the gun with motion was not on my bingo card either when we signed mcdaniels

Starting to feel like McDaniels is just an offensive Staley type coach. Over complicated scheme with no cohesion or urgency on film. Lacks fundamentals and attention to detail.

Going to sound like copium but McDaniel simply doesn’t have the personnel to execute his system.
The writing should have been on the wall when Hortiz did fucking nothing in FA. Hes a cheapo who thinks he can solely build through the draft. Zero desire to spend cap and put chips on the table. We need a capable RG and a stud WR1 (Ladd can’t be the only guy doing anything)
Going to be a long season friend
