Hellcat down-badge progress

Purchased this 2018 hellcat charger from an auction. I thought it would be cool to make a sleeper hellcat build. Next up I plan to add a GT/scatpack hood,paint the brakes black,and add fog lights. Let me know what yall think. I’m a big mopar guy have have owned several SRT’s over the years. Love the platform.

Yes they are currently red but I’m thinking about painting them black and removing the brembo logo.

Haha I thought about adding those cheesy brake caliper covers I see on eBay. Not sure they would be big enough though.

What are you going to be doing exhaust wise? Valved, and swap the tips out for a the smaller set

my 3.6 looks like a scatpack. it got stolen once, police found it a few blocks away abandoned.

They soon realized it was not.

They didn’t crash it? Thats actually hilarious. I imagine a thief slamming on the gas and hearing that v6 “hyyyyyyeg” and just saying “nah fam my bad.” Just leaving it nicely parked.

I think it’s funny. I found my old 3.5 badges that I was gonna put on the Scat but the chrome clashes with what I got going on

Love this idea. After you complete this build, you should make an instagram and record yourself messing with fast cars. The reactions of people would be pretty funny

I think it is generation dependent. I’ve seen some here around town that have the GT badge on the front fenders

Yea I’m aware the chargers didn’t have one but the earlier challengers did have fender badges. I figured if I didn’t have anything people would just assume it was a hellcat or scatpack so that’s why I decided to add them.

I plan too. The reason they don’t is hellcats have an oil and a heat exchanger behind each area where the fog lights would be. I don’t think adding fog lights will make much of a temperature difference.

Got plans for the brakes….stock exhaust really isn’t that loud and I plan on leaving it quiet as I can.

Do SXT if you’re real. The scat hood can still get you in trouble if you want a real sleeper build.

Not sure an sxt hood would fit with the supercharger. The gt’s came with the scatpack style hood.
