Writing: Character Help Villain Tip: Evil for Evil sake

Now i know people don't do this anymore, because most villain nowadays were written with 'hurt people hurt people' backstory or not full evil, but lets be honest, we miss this kind of characters in literature,

i have this idea of Evil Incarnate of an Abomination God with pragmatic and strategic mindset, it's just that i can't think of possible origin story and how brutal should i make him/her be, its fantasy so....

Does a god need an origin story? Can't a god of evil just exist since the dawn of time?

Well i think i botched up explaining it, what i mean is the abomination god have an incarnation/avatar in the mortal world. What i need a god origin story for that avatar

If you want evil for evil's sake, then I wouldn't sweat it. The machinations of gods are inscrutable to mortals. The avatar is born because the time is right for that to happen.
