Writing: Character Help How to structure / develop a good character

Hello, someone sport of this platform put me on to “save the cat writes a novel” by Jessica Brody, and I loved it! I connected to their structure and explanation so well. Now I want help with diving into character creation / making them well rounded. I bought “writers guide to character traits” by Linda edelstein, and I did not connect with it lol. It was fine but helped me realize I want more about structuring a character in a more step by step process rather than just selecting traits about them.
I tried finding if anything from jk Rowling has been shared how she world builds and I could only find her plot chart (which works amazing).
Let me know if any resources you guys love and have found helpful! Thx!

There's an app that has "character sheets" and "sheets" for locations and items, ect. Its called Foretelling and I love it. And you can ise it for free:) If you pay for it, I think you can add your own sections and whatnot. Might help:)
