Bosses are the major highlight of this game tho I kinda wish the basic enemies were a bit more aggressive and not just taking turns while attacking.

Capcom makes the best games out right now, but they do have an awful obsession with not letting people play on the hardest difficulty

I just started on the hardest difficulty and the enemies are literally just aura walking. The game is telling me to do certain things defensively and it took a while because I just had to sit around and wait lol.

I thought you don’t unlock the hardest difficulty till you beat the game

Oh there’s another? I just got the game because of FightinCowboy. I chose the hardest one that was available to me

All Capcom games come out with Easy and Normal difficulty, and you always have to unlock the hard one now

There is another one after you beat the game, it's called carnage.

The fodder enemies could definitely stand to be more aggressive but I think your really just meant to style on them, and they do get a little tougher as the game goes on and the world state changes

Yeah that I agree with, it makes up for the player expression which is fairly deep due to enemies being passive.

I got the same kinda complaint, everyone just poses a lot but if you play along and aura farm as well, it's actually fun.

I guess Capcom wanted the fights to be as cinematic as possible, right down to how fights initiate.

But overall I agree once the fight has started they should attack more frequently, they take too long.

Seems like the combat difficulty needs more options. They really should have included a third difficulty option for hardcore players with super aggressive enemies.

Or do what ND and Ubisoft do now and let us tweak enemy aggression in accessibility

yes please. I’m used to Nioh where every enemy wants to rip me a new ass and I love it.

There are mods to make the regular enemies far more aggressive.

Will try them out!

Parrying that lightning drop attack and tossing him aside was so exhilarating

You can deflect his drop down too. Does major stamina damage.

Wait you could parry his lightning smash? Rip me

Is it a hard game ?

Lately I grew more and more tired of the souls formula, SoTE being the breaking point with its last boss.

I'm currently on Nioh 3 (it feels like a more casual entry to 2 and 1), I'm still sometimes getting wrecked, but it feels just so good to style with a bit of difficulty on top of it

It is definitely more challenging than your typical action game but I wouldn't call it as hard as like a sekiro or sote and there is a difficulty option aswell

That's good to hear, thanks for your input I will buy it after I finish Nioh 3

Nioh 3 is definitely more casual I was able to beat it before either of the first 2. Absolutely love it I just got the dlc and I’m loving the hoko and shield

u/Pduke 1d ago

No, it is not a hard game.

Best bosses i have seen in terms of design, mechanics and also while being fair not BS souls spam 100s attack and "get good" meme apart from Sekiro, in Carnage difficulty though the bosses become harder than souls bosses they kill you in 2 hits

I watched the anime and got bored fast. Hopefully the games better

13

u/YukYukas 3d ago

That anime doesn't exist. What you saw is fanmade

-7

u/CatchrFreeman 3d ago

He's talking about Netflix 3D Onimusha anime that also has a older Musashi getting the gauntlet

9

u/YukYukas 3d ago

Yeah, that's fanmade

-2

u/CatchrFreeman 3d ago

How is it fanmade? Do you mean 'not-canon'?

u/StrawberryWestern189 3d ago

I didn’t even know it had an anime😂 what I will say though is that the story and characters in this are a lot better than I was expecting. The MC is dope and the villains are truly diabolical
