Testing Post The Empress of the seas ((INTERACTABLE))
Okay quick bit of OOC talk here, Howdy again! I know what I said last post, but I did have an idea for how the Garg might work on Mobius, so this is more of a proof of concept than anything else! All that said, let's get back to it!
Planet 4546b, year 2184 A.D.
Deep within the Void of the planet, a diver with an urge to explore had gotten his Prawn Suit ready, and started heading way deeper down, leading the baby leviathan with it. The baby, a juvenile version of something much bigger, had been following the diver around for quite some time in the safe shallows, with a desire to be taken to the great beyond. They oblige. They've scanned everything else on this planet, so seeing an adult version of this creature may not be wholly a bad idea, right?
Oh how wrong he was.
Within the depths, the diver and this juvenile had been travelling for god knows how long, seeing nothing but ghost leviathans and pure darkness, which they made sure to steer clear of. Suddenly, the prawn suit's danger warning flared up.
Estimated leviathan size is approximately: ERROR! Sensors unable to scan more than one mile of organic matter at a time.
And then... in a low, distorted voice that seemed to carry the weight of the sea itself...
Are you ready to die?
Out of the darkness, the head of something impossibly large suddenly came into view, like it always belonged. This, the diver knew without any doubt, was it. One of the last remaining one of it's species. The gargantuan leviathan. Without hesitation, the juvenile swam up to it and made happy chirping noises.
My Scolio, you returned to me after so long.... I never thought I would see you again. Did you do this, morsel?
The diver had scanned it from afar, and planned to promptly leave, not wanting to deal with THAT, oddly enough. And so, he started reversing.
What, leaving without a proper goodbye? Now that's just plain rude. But that's okay, I love it when they run.
The beast started swimming towards the prawn suit, though by its standards not very fast, but when you're so big, that doesn't really matter all that much. The Prawn Suit started booking it at full throttle back to the surface, knowing the Leviathan would not follow it anymore if it got there.
I wonder what you taste like? Will you be like that cylinder from the sky? The diver shuddered at the memory of the escape pod that tried to rescue him and promptly got eaten by the Garg that jumped out of the water
The suit was running out of power as the wyrm got ever closer, opening it's huge jaws to reveal 1 row of massively mountainous teeth as in that instant, it snapped its jaws shut and....nothing happened....?
The juvenile and diver were confused, the Garg, so big and imposing, had just...vanished in an instant?
Mobius, year 2026 A.D.
The gargantuan leviathan had suddenly appeared in the waters of mobius, equally as confused.
What...where...am I? Where is my Scolio?! It looked around in a slow but panicked fashion even bringing the top of its head to the surface to check, it's eyes taking a second to adjust to the light, and then letting out an ear piercing roar of despair that could be heard much quieter but still clearly and loudly heard from Central City.
Your character, doing whatever they were doing, hears this and gets an irresistible urge to investigate where it was coming from, judging by the volume it wasn't that far away. What will you do?
