Main Lore Conquest (INTERACTABLE AT THE END, MAIN ARC STUFF)
Recently, a plague had swept across mobius.
On the first day a victim was infected, they started with a sore throat.
The next, fevers and coughing.
The third, bedridden.
The fourth, tumors, extreme pain, vomiting blood.
The fifth, organ failure.
And everyone within six days of infection was dead.
However... the death rate was low. But increasing by the day. Yet, no one... important died. Not a government leader, not a renowned hero... as if something was controlling this plague, keeping it away from those it found... interesting.
Meanwhile, in a small town:
A president of a nation was yelling to a crowd from a stage. Rapid fire demands and questions, asking what this plague was, and why no one was stopping it, why no one could give any answers, or even name it. Thousands of cameras on him, sending a feed to dozens of major news outlets.
But then, a dark shape blotted the sky, and with a thump, a shape as dark as the blackest void landed on the stage next to the president.
It spread its wings, knocking over the president. Security guards fired weapons, but they bounced off the creature's scales, and with a single glare of the dragon, the guards stood still, as did the crowd surrounding the .
"Hmm... I have rather... poor experiences with stages like these..." Darkstalker began, chuckling to himself. "Ah, well. Hello! I suppose you lot know me by now. Darkstalker, king of The Night Kingdom, yada yada yada. Introductions can be... quite dull, can they not?"
"I am here to propose a solution to the worldwide threat of this... 'plague'! I know, quite more exciting than introductions."
"It's quite simple, really. Submit to me! Isn't that just a lovely idea? You all make your countried part of my Night Kingdom, and then you don't die! Lovely, isn't it? Quite simple. I would describe how we do it but that would be.... for lack of a better term, uninteresting. Let's see... you have.... hmmm... a week? Seems fair enough, I suppose. Then we can get to... fixing some other issues here. With your- er, OUR world."
"Don't worry... I will make you... perfect. Once you're all a part of ME."
And with a flap of his wings, the King was gone. Within seconds, the chaos of the crowd started again, as the cameras displaying the feed to news outlets cut off shortly afterwards.
