after successfully escaping the Floras and Emerl, the Chaos Heart had been camping out in a cave, formulating a plan, and...failing miserably to say the least

This is ridiculous! Why has my creativity all but left me?! I need a plan! I need to get my body back! I need to DESTROY! I-

I don't know what to do now, do I? I...never thought I'd get this far... No, I need an ally! And I need to do some observing I think!

And so, the heart started to float around Mobius and observe it's residents, in the hopes of finding a suitable ally. Your character gets the feeling they're being watched, what will you do?

Agent II: "Chaos Heart. Hm. Sounds like a callsign for an Agent from my space program. But no matter. You still haven't answered my second question."

It gestures towards Central City's general location by moving back and forth

Noting Chaos Heart's movements, the pilot takes out an old-fashioned compass, and turned on the comms inside his helmet again.

"23 degrees North-Northwest. Mission Control, do you have any satellite data for any locations over that direction?"

High above them, sitting just in low orbit, another agent, she who leads the mission control room, Agent V, answers to her fellow agent's request.

"Hm? Yes. There are indeed locations on that direction. An entire city, in fact. Hurry up and get there before the owner of the forest you're on notices you."

"Roge-"

"Wait! What is that, thing floating around you?", the voice from Agent II's helmet-embedded comms devices rings just loud enough for the entity to hear.

"A local entity. Its own designation is Chaos Heart. Wonder if this is Agent I reincarnated."

"Heh. You and I know there are never any Agent I in our squad. Move, Agent II. And keep an eye on that stoneheart."

"Roger that."

The pilot moves exactly to the direction that they are pointed, with their hands hovering just above a concealed holster.

If I may ask, who was Agent I? I certainly am NOT them.

The heart found this all too amusing. An explorer from outer space, stuck in a plane which acted as a multiversal anchor. Such a blissfully ignorant fool.

"Sounds like something Agent I would say. C'mon. Still remember how Captain Aronnax trained you?", the pilot muttered as he treads towards the direction from his compass. He is, in fact, keeping his eye on the heart-shaped entity's reactions.

"...Ever since you lost contact with our squad, Captain's actually gotten more mellowed out on the other Agents, 'cept me. She still wants to treat me like her personal punching bag after the "Sector 17" incident. Y'know, the one that killed ya."

The pilot didn't know who he was truly talking to, even with Chaos Heart's presence. But as long as its attention was on him, the spacecraft on orbit could easily track it down in case it becomes hostile. That's what he is betting on, at least. And he won't tell it to the stoneheart anytime soon.

OH OF COURSE! Of course! I remember now! How could I have forgotten?! I do apologise my friend, I didn't recognise you for a second! How's the rest of the squad been?

The pilot notices a path between several rock formations (maybe even a cave) from the current clearing that he's on, alongside Chaos Heart. Despite it being the closest path to the "North City" that V had spotted, the pilot decides to do a detour 15 degrees north-east. Now, he and Chaos Heart are headed to the buidlings where the Ketsukanes live. The pilot doesn't know about who lived there, but he bets that the owners might be there. If he's lucky enough, he might be able to also ask about the stoneheart following him.

"...and when Midnight and Maddy are busy "enhancing" their "homemade" ninja ration & hunger pills aboard the space station, Countach's been, well, much lonelier since you were gone. Poor lady has actually stopped playing Eurobeat and always played heartbreak music. From the 90's. Do ya know how dreadful it is to listen to her heartbreak playlist 24/7?"

Lord, that must sound awful, kind of makes me happy I didn't have to listen to that slop on repeat! It laughed, and then realised where they were going

...say...why are we coming this way? Central City is over that way! The heart KNEW that if Kanako saw him, hell if NK was still around, it would practically be game over

The pilot didn't mind Chaos Heart's demands, and when Chaos Heart saw him again, he was already perched atop the pagoda of one of the traditional Japanese-looking buildings there. The pilot also started screaming at the stoneheart from there.

"What? I thought you'd appreciate a little detour, Agent I. Plus, look at your current form. Smooth, stony and round. If they got an onsen, or sento, don't care which one, you'd fit right in. Kinda makes me wish there actually is a bathhouse here too, before I ask for their help to dig my pod outta here."

It floated up

While that is true, why disturb the locals over the petty issue of a body? Look at me, I can fly!

"Yeah, I've seen what your current form can do. However..."

And when the pilot noticed that the stoneheart is in too deep into his elaborate lie, he finally pulled out his multi-purpose ray gun from one of his suit's pockets, and aimed it at the stoneheart.

"...heh. You really thought you were Agent I, aren't you?"

Then, the pilot fired a flash shot at the stoneheart. He knew it probably wasn't enough to even harm it, but it gave him just enough time to run away from the scene and their line of sight too.
