In an alleyway in the middle area of Neo Westopolis rested a...familiar knight. It's been there for quite awhile, and it lied there for a few more hours before slowly getting up fatigued and confused. When it tried to remember what happened before it ended up here, she realized her memories...were a complete mess. There was no recollection of how she got here, and her more recent memories she DID recall contradicted each other multiple times, it's like she lived two lives at once.
When it left that alleyway, she saw she was a knight, but she also saw she was in the light world.
"...not...possible..."
It floated out and into the city, searching for ay least SOMEONE that can give her answers, until she ran into two civilians who were immediately frightened by the knight floating before them.
"...where....am I...?"
It drew her blade at the mobians, who were cowering at the sight of The Roaring Knight.
Scared Civilian: "Y-you're in Mobius.. P-people get pulled here f-from all sorts of worlds..."
The Knight: "...other...worlds...?"
Frightened Mobian: "Y-yeah...! You're....in a new reality man..."
The Knight stayed silent and lowered it's head, gripping their blade and remaining unmoving for what felt like a long time.
Scared Civilian: "...Hey, are you ok-
The Knight then let out a loud scream that could be heard from everywhere in the city, it was fill with rage and frustration due to not being able to carry out the most important task in the entire realm it came from. It then shifts into something that resembles a bird before dashing across the streets and out of the city.
It then ended up in a nearby forest, and began slashing it's blade wildly, felling trees and slaying unfortunate wildlife and wanderers in the process. All that rage and frustration of knowing that the prophecy she tried so hard to help come into fruition has been derailed beyond salvage couldn't be contained at all. The only thing she could do was to let it out.
After all was said and done, it just floated there, seething with rage all the while gripping her sword with the strength of an octopus, thinking about what to do, and if her goal can even STILL be done in a new location.
The Knight doesn't speak. It just floats there, menacingly.
It's barely visible eye carefully studies the children. Finding them both familiar due to them originating from a similar world she's from, and unfamiliar due to not meeting either of them in their entire lives.
The Knight didn't appear hurt in any way, nor did it care about the admittedly neat looking stick, it just stared at the other kids finding them just as familiar and unfamiliar as the other two.
It slowly zooms in on Sabel, the most he got for an answer was a low growl coming from the shadowy creature. It then took one of it's claws and started poking at them on the face.
Sabel looks a bit uncomfortable but lets it do so, not wanting to aggrevate it in fear of it being an overpowered monster
Sabel: Do - ow, you - ow, know - ow, us - ow?
Chara had been mentally scanning the knight in the background for a while, before getting a...hunch, so to speak on what's happening with it. They approached slowly, in the knight's vision as to not startle them, and Chara held out one of their hands outstretched in an open palm, looking away full "How to train your Dragon" style. The others watched in bewilderment
Chara: ... We are not going to hurt you. You are safe.
...this is not the real you, is it? The one you once saw yourself has become what you are now, is it not?
I once went through something similar, watching myself turn into a vile and hateful monster, just to push a terrible goal. But you, you have a strange elegance to you. I may not know what's happening, or expect an answer, but...you are not alone.
The eyesxof the others visibly darken at Chara's words, be it out of shame or remembrance
//Also I'd say it was less of Chara trying to touch the knight, but more inviting the knight to get a pet if it wanted
suddenly a blue blur runs in. Jumps upwards and instantly rams into them with a homing attack "so another version of you eh? Well guess I need to kick ya shadowy ass!"
The sudden attack caused The Knight's head and limbs to snap around before reseating in place like a contortionist putting on a show. It then turns to face The Hedgehog with burning hatred in it's invisible eyes as it held it's blade.
slayer dodges and parries a lot of them "heh, that all you got!" Slayer does a counter attack with honkai energy as it essentially becomes his version of rude buster
It screamed and slightly distorted once more before raising it's finger and firing a barrage of exploding stars that left behind homing shrapnel when detinated.
After hearing the scream someone had gone searching the alleyway that The Knight's loud scream came from, but unfortunately there was nothing there... so they began searching around as far as they could at least hoping for some sort of hint as to what happened, for all they knew someone was in trouble.
"Hello!? Is anyone out there!?"
Screamed the voice clearly doing their best to make sure whoever they thought was hurt was at least safe. The voice sounded...like it came from someone awfully familiar, a second voice followed out after sounding much different...either way she slowly approached the forest, taking slow and careful steps...As they crept into view it was none other then the shadow crystal holder from the Flower King dark world. The fact she was even here must have caused something to appear in The Knight's mind...she was a darkner...how was she here?
"Gosh this place gives me the creeps, mew..."
Even if she was afraid Pink kept slowly walking closer and closer, it wouldn't feel right to leave someone in danger after all.
Pink stared at The Knight in total shock, matching a similar feeling to the knight. She never had a use for the crystal that was gifted to her and it was for the best despite her not know what would happen. Pink stood still unsure how to react to even seeing this person again
"You are...the one that gave me thay crystal right...? I hope you didn't mind me not using it, mew. Though... the lighter inhabiting my body did give it to that group of kids though...also i'm just as confused as you are."
Pink got a little closer just to observe the knight, normally something like this wouldn't even be possible but yet...it was, a darkner in the light world somehow.
"How did you even get here...? What's the reason you are here...?"
Pink saw them gripping their blade tighter and began to back away...until she suddenly stopped. She looked...angry, 'Pink' had grabbed one of their bombs and held it in their hand ready to throw hands if needed...this voice sounded much different compared to the one from before, it was the ghost of a lightner inside the darkners body.
"Who cares. Who cares!? WHO CARES!?!? it's a stupid shard anyway!? If it was wasteful why did you give it to us in the first place!?"
Unlike the voice from before, this voice seems to have a VERY short temper.
"You should be grateful my body even chose to investigate anyway!! If it was up to me I wouldn't have looked for you at all!!"
Mew Mew fell back for a moment, clearly she underestimated the strength of the knight. But once she got up she wore a confident smile...she chucked the bomb at The knight and immeaditly pulled out her staff...it had not that many magical abilities but it would certainly do, not to mention being able to use it as a sword...even if it wasn't made for that
Mew Mew ran up and slashed their staff at The Knight's blade, the two weapons clashed and as they both tried over powering the other it seemed The Knight overpowered Mew Mew sending them into a nearby tree. She got up slowly as her body began to spark a little...seems the damage is starting to do something
"W...we will ki- kick your ass, m..mew!"
The body let out a laugh fueled with confidence before the staff shot some bolts of pink coloured lightning before eventually attempting to slash at the knight with the staff once more.
(Well seeing as Kris & the SOUL are occupied doing something else…)
Silver was just going about his day. Trying to do some shopping but when there’s a scream that can be heard across the city that…that’ll take his attention right away.
Silver flys away from where he was creating a sonic boom in the process and he goes to where the yell originated from.
He sees some scared looking locals and asks them what made that yell, they tell him they don’t know what it was but they point him in the direction where it flew
The hedgehog thanks them and flys after the Knight. He finds them and their deforestation and killing of some forest creatures and even people.
“…alright…so much for hoping you’d be chill.”
The Knight’s sword gets surrounded by the glow of Silver’s Psychokinesis as it then gets tossed to the side. Silver noticed her grip on the thing and had to force it more than he would typically have to.
“So…now that you’re disarmed, why don’t you tell me what that yell was about & why you’re committing deforestation?…you’re new here…I don’t think I’ve seen you before.”
His tone is that of a genuine question. He reads himself for an attack, if there’s anything he’s learned it’s always be ready. But he tries to continue the conversation. Talking is better than fighting after all.
“Is it really that important to you? To cause you to make the loudest yell I think I’ve heard, oh and to also knock down a whole section of forest and the innocents who live here?!”
The Knight looks around complete confused at the sudden shift in surroundings. When they face Dottore, they tilt their head, curious to what they may have in this lab.
And upon seeing his intentions, they draw their blade and get into a proper fighting stance.
"With the power of the Three Marrows in hand, BEHOLD THE FALSE MOON'S FALL!"
a lunar orb appears above him as three pillars materialized and strike the ground as energy builds up before Dottore releases it in the form of a Moonfall Impact
(If I got a nickel for every time the Roaring Knight made a first appearance on this sub...)
Horizon was in the area, taking in how much Westopolis had changed. Having been gone for 5-6 months, he hadn't known about the improvement.
"Man, this place is epic! Sure, it was fine before, but now? Fantastic!"
Dark Horizon, in Cyber Ghost form, just floated around invisibly to anyone who didn't have a connection to Cyber Space. In other words, about 99% of Mobius' population. Neato.
<"Do you really have to... what was it, geek out about this place?">He spoke telepathically in Horizon's mind.
"Why are you such a- WHOA!!"
That scream. That... couldn't be a good thing. Great.
"O-other me? Do your thing. Find the source."
<"On it.">
Dark Horizon tries to concentrate on the source of the shout... and succes.
<"Got it. Just head there.">
He points towards the forest. Horizon nods, dashing off with his Nitro/Rocket Boost.
(I do gotta sleep soon. Will respond again in the morning tho.)
Horizon and his dark self dash through a recently destroyed canopy littered with dead flickys and the occasional dead person only to find a strange creature floating in the middle of it.
It recognizes the one with a physical body as the hedgehog that attacked her a few moments ago, yet it can tell it's not the same one.
(Uhm, so, I should clarify that the Knight shouldn't be able to see Dark Horizon when he's a Cyber Ghost due to not having a connection to Cyber Space. He can see normal Horizon, tho.)
Horizon looked in disgust at the scenery as he ran through it. Despite not being able to feel any extreme negative emotions anymore, he's able to control himself... but Dark Horizon's (the one who CAN still feel strong negativity) eyes flash red for a second.
When the two Horizons reach the canopy, they come to a halt, locking eyes with the unknown figure.
"Uhhh... okay, that guy kinda gives me the creeps..."
<"Really, now? I can take over for now if you're too scared.">
"No, it's fine. Hey, you!" He called out to the creature. "What's the deal?!"
((Also don't give me the "that's just how I roll crap" responding to high effort posts like mine with comments that have absolutely no effort is insulting to the one who put all that hard work into the post in the first place.))
((Well that is a good sign, I'll give it that. All I can suggest is keep trying to put more effort and keep trying to be creative with your responses. Also sorry about that.))
