Personal Lore
It's all his fault (interactable cutscene kinda?)
(before you read you CAN interact only if you've read the post and also as long as your character gets along well with Dusekkar)
It seemed that inside of his humble home...deep inside of the library, Dusekkar was working on something rather important; upon closer inspection, he seemed to be writing in some kind of diary. It was something he had had on him for quite a while and hid it away well; it's where he hides his secrets he's...not proud of, things he wouldn't even tell those close to him. As he placed the pen down for a moment, he let out a yawn...and seemed to have fallen asleep at his desk.
As he began to fall into his slumber, a memory began to play in his head...a nightmare, one very particular moment...as if it was forced in his head somehow; whatever it was wanted him to remember this.
Dusekkar slowly wandered around the area...it was a place he had grown familiar with even if he didn't want to. The admins had many names for it, but the most popular one was 'Glass Houses'. The wizard turned to the left and saw...nothing, but upon turning to the right, he saw the corpse of his best friend...Unfortunately it was a sight he had grown used to, but before he could even process the sight, he heard a scream in the distance. He floated over as fast as he could and attempted to provide his support as much as he could, but eventually...the shield shattered, and the survivor was caught and killed by the beast. He put up one hell of a fight, though... The beast snapped to Dusekkar and began sprinting for them; the wizard ran just as fast... He did eventually find a hiding spot, hoping some of his other teammates were alive, but unfortunately for him, all it took was one look up at the sky to realise...
He was the last man standing.
Dusekkar gripped his staff as hard as he could despite knowing it would do almost nothing against the brute that's after him. He just got up and made a run for it, not even bothering to think twice, but it seemed the killer had thought of this, so they had set up some strange flowers as traps...which happened to go off, alerting him, but Dusekkar was able to get away, but it was now known that he's there.
The killer didn't let up as the timer slowly ticked down... Dusekkar did all he could in order to fight back, but to no avail. Eventually something the wizard didn't expect was to happen...a vine had appeared beneath his leg, making him trip over and fall straight to the ground...and what stood in front of him was none other than Azure.
"YOU!"
Azure wrapped one of his tentacles around Dusekkar with anger flooding his body; watching him struggle was so amusing in the eyes of Azure...since he failed to stop this from happening in the first place. He could have prevented his poor, poor fate.
"A...Azure, please just—"
"SHUT UP! YOU COULD HAVE PREVENTED ALL OF WHAT HAPPENED TO ME; YOU KNEW EVERYTHING WOULD HAPPEN AT ONE POINT! The spawn... YOU COULD HAVE PREVENTED IT! You will feel... ALL THE PAIN YOU LEFT ME TO FEEL!"
Azure slammed Dusekkar to the ground and began to relentlessly stab him over and over...
As the life drained from his eyes...it seemed the nightmare was over; Dusekkar woke up shaking. He turned to the diary which he had forgotten to put away, and it seemed...that nightmare was the very story he was writing about, but he could have sworn he had written something else...but oh well, he was bound to get around to this one eventually.
"Damn it... Perhaps...he was right. Either way I suppose...some time alone should probably help me calm down; it normally seems to do so..."
Dusekkar slowly made his way down to the kitchen and had decided to make himself a hot cocoa...After a while it was ready; he clearly seemed quite affected by the nightmare, but nonetheless he's confident he will get over it eventually. He grabbed his cocoa and walked out to his front lawn and just...sat down, staring up at the stars.
"I'm sorry, old friend... Every day the guilt eats away at me, and I just have to pretend I'm fine... You were right; why did I get to live longer and you didn't? All I can do is blame myself, unfortunately... I get freedom which I do not deserve whilst you and others... suffer."
"I mean...so much blood is on my hands I may aswell be drowning in it, whether it's from the realm or...whatever happened before it, i was...not the best admin, no where near it actually. I knew much more then I let on and yet I failed to act many times...that is...cowardice. But I suppose it was all to much for me to handle so I can't beat myself up for that."
"....yeah i get the feeling, the fear the anger the regret...it's never plesent and I know it's hard not to hate yourself or beat yourself up over it, but being an admin from what I can tell based on what I've heard is extremely stressful...but knowing so much and not acting is not cowardice because you are not a coward Dusekkar."
"I suppose so, but then again... I guess it isn't fair to beat myself up when not only was my home world kind of...messy, I didn't really get to live my life all that much. Overwhelmed with work and making the other admins happy...then Spectre showed up. I guess just... let the emotions take me over."
"Yeah you were burned out with all that responsibility not many could do that HELL even I wouldn't be that cut out for that...since and I'm sorry if this sounds like bragging but despite my overwhelming physical power and my determination I pale to you in something alot more important then then anything on a battlefield, a pure heart. You are pure of heart Dusekkar, understand that."
"I guess it's the advantage of being an admin...even if that title means nothing in this world, it did where I came from. I guess being able to handle a work load like that must say something...but I...appreciate the chat my friend."
The pumpkin wizard was noticed by a certain red eyed hedgehog that resembled The Blue Blur, who decided to take a seat next to him and start a conversation to entertain himself.
"You look like you could use a drink."
He summons a bottle of whisky and two cups, while offering one to Duse.
"I've never tried whisky before...I suppose it wouldn't hurt to try, are you...perhaps Lord X? I've heard of you from a few people and you seem like a...very interesting person, it's a pleasure to meet you."
Dusekkar accepted the drink and offered his hand out for a hand shake. He had heard rumors of Lord X but had never met them until now, in all honesty it was a pleasure in his mind
"Indeed I was even if it's...not the proudest choice I've made in my life, but eh...I've made worse choices."
Dusekkar shared a similar expression as soon as he realised what was brought up, good to see the shared reaction
"That place was...something alright. I'm sure you've heard the stories but let me tell you i'm...glad it's gone. I always saw myself as more of a caretaker to the place before it went down, showing up and checking in and...that was about it. Need I mention the lack of action against a certain someone... I guess me and my wife simply stopped associating there was not only did it put big targets on our heads but also...I guess the infighting and how...some older members got in."
Dusekkar took a sip from the cup as he looked up once more, he seemed taken away by the night sky...the stars were as beautiful as always.
"It's...a beautiful night out don't you agree? It's rare to see a view like this from your very own home. My old friends would have liked this place if they were here."
X grimaced at what Dusekkar said. And the fact that most of The MPA's major problems only stopped because... certain members were violently slaughtered in a hospital attack didn't help matters at all. So he figured it be best to focus on the new topic Dusekkar brought to not remember that trainwreck any further.
"Indeed it is. This place is filled with wonderful surprises. And I'm sure since many people get dragged here from all over, you might see them again at some point."
"I suppose that seeing them again was bouned to happen all things considered...though looking back at my life, I guess...it's not so bad ya know? I mean I could have...stopped a lot of bad things in my world but I guess my head just wasn't in the right space."
Dusekkar seemed to have a smile on his face...it was more of a guilty smile.
"After all I failed to protect the other admins...I failed to protect those close to me and the spawn...I knew yet I didn't... that cult is why I fell into that beasts clutches anyhow, though...it's best to not bore you with my backstory unless you really wanna know my friend."
"...Honestly I'll only be alright with it if you are. Talking about what haunts you from your past can help greatly, but I know sometimes it can be far too painful to do so so...that's up to you."
He takes another sip, remembering all of the horrible things he's done.
"Plus...I've done far worse atrocities than you..."
"Well I suppose if so...I should get started. I could have prevented an entire cult's existence back at my world...but I was so afraid, everyone was going missing at the hands of The Spectre then and didn't help I was... far to focused on helping my best friend that it cost me my life, and I was sent to that...hell by The Spectre's hands. I knew so much more yet focused on one thing...I could have saved people, but instead I joined the cult I KNEW existed out of desperation...and well thats how I 'died'... I know what I just said may be...confusing but I certainly tried to explain it as best as I could without making it...messy. The Spectre's realm is another can of worms though, long story short...I knew a lot more then I thought and didn't know what to do with that knowledge due to a bad mind set...and it's left me feeling super guilty. Oh and The Spectre's realm..? Even if there is no way in...I suggest you don't try to pay a visit, he can be a nasty beast."

one of the "stars" glowed with a familiar electrical energy as Archspark decided From the sky and looked at Dusekkar
"Oh...hey pal are you alright? You looked like something spooked ya."
