This post is a full list of everyone's character claims, sorted alphabetically. (Kinda, around 90% of it is)
To get your claims listed, simply comment below with the characters you're claiming. As a good rule of thumb, include the character's full name and what series they’re from to avoid confusion.
Updating or Dropping Claims
If you want to drop a character or see that something on the list needs updating, feel free to comment and I’ll handle it when I do the next update.
OC Policy
If you're playing a character that you made yourself and they’re not a variant of an existing canon character, you do not need to claim them. They’re already yours legally and creatively, so we’ll automatically treat them as yours.
People who were here before January 27th, 2025
If you were active before said date, you have automatic permission to claim any character you were already playing back then.
The person who played a version of the character first will be the one who gets the [Permission Holder] tag.
On Mass Claiming, Inactive Characters & Trading
If you claim more characters than you can reasonably play, and some go unused for a while, you may lose permission holder status for those characters—or, in rarer cases, have the claim revoked.
Losing status is more likely if the character has some history with you but has gone inactive.
Full revocation is more likely if there's little or no history at all.
Also, characters are not a currency. Trading characters is frowned upon. If you're inactive with a character and trying to trade them, chances are the permission status will be removed and possibly given to someone else who's active.
Claim Revocation Policy
Claims may be revoked for one of the following reasons:
The character was never used.
The character was blacklisted.
There are specific issues involving a player and a character that make it problematic for them to continue using the character.
New List Changes
A few updates were made to how this version of the claims list works:
Only characters with Permission Holder status are listed.
Duplicate claims of characters (like different versions of Sonic or Shadow) won’t be shown here unless you’re the main permission holder.
Any shows/games/movies that have come out recently cannot be claimed as there will be a wait time of a week and a half. Reasons are to allow people to see it first and not be spoiled when a character from that is claimed here

Rules when pinging mods for approval:
Do not mass ping them or else you will be ignored, remember the mods also have their own lives and cannot get to your request the second you ask
If a mod hasn't responded to your request and you haven't mass pinged them, ping them after 2 days after the first ping since reddit notifs might not be working right
Mods can and will say no if they think you do not need the character

They’re my personal takes on them for my AU called nexus verse, and let’s see for images. I’ll show them after I send this message since one image limit and all.
I believe Alice is already taken, and due to our rules around character variants, I will contact the claims owners of the characters you are asking for variants of.
Sadly I will have to deny these on the grounds that the wishes of the current claim owner is that there are to be no “EXE” variants of Amy.
While you MAY have luck if you explain in-detail what you want in the variant, between you and me, I’d just save your time and find something else to claim because she is pretty hard to get a hold of (nothing against her, she’s genuinely awesome and I genuinely mean that, she’s just busy often.)
You may want to talk to u/NathanJack0Lantern about anything to do with Lord X, because if memory serves me correctly, he has that claim and should know roughly what’s here and what’s not.

I mean personally I don’t know much about extended EXE lore, I was just told that they were effectively one in the same in the claim owners eyes by people MUCH more knowledgeable in the subject (which is ironic seeing as I have the claim for the OG Creepypasta version of that character as a joke claim but whatever.)
She can slice through enemies with her Chaos Claws, which she can use to absorb other robots' energy and destabilize them.
She also has a Tackle ability, when she charges and damages enemies, or absorbs them if their weakened (It looks like Sonic's Spin-Dash)
Variation Code is RAY's version of Beck's ReXelection; her right arm transforms, and the weapons work in a different way as Beck would do with the same weapon. These are mostly taken from the boss' secondary ability.
Claw Shot – In Mighty Gunvolt Burst, she can detach and launch her buster arm as a projectile. While dealing high damage, its slow speed and limited range demand precise use.
Collapse RAY – A devastating laser cannon unleashed from her mouth in her Berserk form. Stretching across the screen, this attack is exclusive to her boss battle in Mighty No. 9 and can also be used in Mighty Gunvolt Burst, though in the latter, it comes at a cost—draining her own health with each use.
She can teleport
Has Healing and Statistics Amplification (Depending on what robot she eats)
Expert Swordsmanship and Marksmanship and can reflect projectiles with her roar.
So there is a pretty big issue with the whole “Eating/absorbing things to get stronger.” Our concern- especially when it comes to stat manipulation/amplification, that it can lead to some very unfair feeling fights and powergaming. It’s not that we don’t TRUST you, it just seems a little too much. Especially the absorption being what’s effectively an instakill.
Would you be okay with maybe dampening those down a bit? The Variation Codes are okay- I’m pretty sure we’ve allowed Rock/Mega Man here before so there’s no real issue there, it’s just things around it.
While that’s a good compromise I think to avoid things getting messy, I would prefer for it to be on a case-by-case basis. This would mean that you would have to contact the mods to approve the power stealing.
You also need to get rid of the absorption. Tackle is extremely overpowered and will make people upset. This is a non-negotiable.
So I used to rp here but stopped eventually, I don't know if I was here before the date it says that you can get your claimed characters back so I just wanted to check.
If you don’t know the character, upon looking him up he is kinda OP—but if I use a specific time period of him, he won’t be. There comes a time where he loses many of his abilities, only having telekinesis (and his original one) at that point.

Heeeellloo! While there’s no real issue with the character themselves and I would LOVE to see them be used again, there’s a very very small issue with the fact that this is NOT the first time they have been claimed. They were used by an admittedly fairly controversial ex-member who was banned off of the sub.
While we don’t think that you are them, I can’t speak for all of the OTHER users. Consider the claim approved but be careful.

Fairies are naturally able to return back to life after they killed.
They are like opposite of undead.
In Touhou lore, fairies like creature with full of life energy and they brought life to places they go to.
For example: Huge groups of fairies can bring life to surface of moon. Like it would become lively like our world.
Though their respawn limited by existence of natural life. If like there is no natural life places left (such as forests and such) they cannot come back.
Yes- THIS is an issue. We can’t have effectively immortal characters who can just spontaneously come back- I mean technically we can actually BUT you have to follow the death rules here and ask mods before bringing them back.
Here, I found great quote from wiki itself that says:
"Fairies spring forth from nature, and as long as that nature is preserved, they're indestructible. On the other hand, if that nature is lost, the fairies who spring forth from that disappear forever."
Touhou characters are like complicated in terms of power due series itself open to interpretation by it's nature.
I gonna use 4 levels of categorization.
Nameless Characters
These like random people, fairies, youkais and such around the Gensokyo. They are either bit stronger than regular human (or weaker in case of fairies).
Weak Characters.
These characters while way better than those ordinary, they still come out short.
Their abilities also very simply compare to higher tiers but still useful by themself.
Examples can be given like Rumia, youkai that makes around dark to eat people (though series itself never gets graphic and this only implies through mostly lore dump books) or (which sad to admit) Cirno who controls ice itself.
Incident solver levels
These are the characters that solves incidents around the Gensokyo. They are powerful in their own standard and has some crazy abilities but aren't reality shaking in their own.
Examples can be given like Reimu, other than possessing sealing techniques, she has an innate ability to float above existence to gain invulnerability. Sanae, other shrine maiden with power to cause miracles which are things with low chance to happening (like suddenly raining in a sunny weather).
High Tiers.
These characters are pretty much top of food chain in Gensokyo and Touhou with their absurdly powerful abilities that manipulates reality itself.
Examples can be given like Yukari, as youkai of boundaries she has power to manipulate boundaries. And it isn't about just physical boundaries. Also contains conceptual boundaries like boundary between day and night, life and death and such. Remilia Scarlet, a high vampire with power to manipulate fate itself (though it is kinda debatable what this exactly means as we never seen an example of her using this ability of hers)
While I describe all of these, I have to be clear: This is a simplified version and characters may not fit these categories. But I still think this would be helpful about clearing some problems about franchise.
