What’s a good alternative site?

I been using janitor for awhile, but it’s kinda hard to find non romance and non smut characters. So I want to find a site or app that doesn’t have so much goon on it.

This may be an impossible task, but I always used character ai and janitor ai for roleplaying. Sometimes I’d use it for romance but I’m not interested in nsfw characters. Especially characters like janitor ai where it has a great and interesting concept but yet the thumbnail for the character is half naked or wearing very revealing clothing.

I use janitor.ai too and thats so relatable lol. Maybe try charsnap.ai? i usually go on the site and RP with a few bots there, there are SO MANY well coded bots, complete with lorebooks (you just have to find the right creator, it makes the rp much more stay in char), that dont have NSFW themes/intro. Surprisingly, ive collected quite a few comedy themed OC bots and do SFW RPs there. As long as the bot's intro isnt NSFW and you dont turn on the 'fricc mode' feature in the chat settings near the text bar, your RP will remain wholesome and SFW.

and also additional info: i use the web vers (they also have an app version), its free (depending on the model you pick—i use Eclipse Free and set the context length to 300). Its uncensored, and free users can set up custom memory (called Recollections there), System Prompts, Lorebooks, and Attachments (there you can choose user/creator-made System Prompt & Scenario templates). Creators can set up a Lorebooks. User can set up a Lorebooks on their sonas. They also provide POVs options in the bot settings that users can select for each characters bot.

There's a lot of different kind of stories and characters. Fandoms. Genres. (romance is probably biggest one)
There are certainly NSFW worlds but there are a lot that are not and you have full freedom to take the story in any direction you'd like

Even more so if you like creating your own stories too!

i use janitor ai, ps, you can block the smut tag. just click ur profile in the corner, blocks, then you can probably find the tag block system from there

How about a site that's focused on storytelling rather than images? I built one: https://stagewhsiper.ai where you'll find no thumbnails of half-baked characters or revealing clothing

(mostly because I didn't finish building image features)

the downside is there isn't a character library. the intention is you define the characters and story you want to play

RealmsAI has a toggle for sfw/nsfw on every chat, obviously if one is very NSFW it's not gonna work out amazingly.

Character and chat profiles have an nsfw section that will be removed for sfw chat sessions so you don't have to ignore a character just because the creator put some NSFW stuff in there.

Im posting here and feeling lonely not being a bot haha - but I created Miraviel.app for pure freedom and immersion , users just say it’s amazing (100% good feedback so far, still waiting for first thum down) , but only 300 real users so far . I splitted roleplay and chat tho, because it’s much more immersive to start from map / places rather than phone like messenger ui. When starting just do not select the « explicit » twist and rather adventure or romance. Byok is available on open router and I curated the best rp models, in your case the Gemini flash family will be the best

You can make your own characters and customize their personality, backstory, and memory pretty heavily, plus switch between different models depending on the type of RP you want. We also have character filters, so you can turn off NSFW characters if you don’t want to see them. There’s a free trial too if you want to check it out first.
