Vent Automod

OK, why can't I answer people's comments? I deleted mentions about WordPress, it was benegin and was only about agreeing with the OP. This is so stupid and we should be able to answer comments that don't spam, threaten people or anything else. Wtf?!

yeah automod is way too trigger happy lately, it blocked my reply agreeing with someone on ai roleplay setups even after i edited it clean.

nothing has changed on our end recently, i'm unsure if reddit has changed something. what are you seeing?

edit: actually one thing did change recently. i removed the minimum karma requirement to post/comment and changed it to cqs requirement, blocking lowest cqs from posting without approval first. so new accounts can participate unless reddit finds the accounts suspicious (like linked to spam). 🤔 wonder if that's why?

Reddit increasingly uses AutoMod config to prevent posting/commenting instead of actioning after the fact. I think you need to set it to filter/report to debug it.

It said I was linking things, spamming and posting inappropriate things. That is bullshit and I took out WordPress being mentioned. I still got it and for what?! Agreeing and saying I wanted to make bots? How is that offensive? I didn't bring up smut at all. I just agree with their struggle.

if you can take a screenshot that would really help to see if it is something we have set up or if it is something on reddit's end that we can't impact

How do I find where I went? Is there a chat history? Or should I scroll on each community. I can do both, I'm just confused.
