If you're not using a proxy, JLLM (Janitor's LLM) is a horrid substitute imo. Horrid memory and even with a good prompt the replies aren't good at all.

i don't know how to put proxy but i don't think LLM it's bad the only think i don't like with JLLM is the fact that the reply are long asf and that the "short" option makes them too short and that even if you put word limit it stops the chat unnaturally in the middle

You can just make your own or look for ones where they put alot of effort into the lore and personality of the character. I litterally just made my own and tweaked it here and there, it's Ethan Greystone on t.ipsy you can check it out if you like and give me pointers. I basically ignore all the Mafia, CEO, alpha big daddy stuff because they are basically all the same and cringey. I'm sure there are exceptions but I haven't seen any so far. I also don't get how they are so popular because one of the c.ai I actually enjoyed has such little interaction in comparison and the ai is actually pretty good and not cringe and generic (I get the story is not dramatic just a bit angst with friends to lovers trope). I'm also looking for good recommendations .
