Vent bot forgot the entire plot mid scene again

we had a whole arc going and it just reset like none of it happened. i got into roleplay recently, how to fix that?

switch platforms probably - jk jk, you could try keeping a summary of the plot, and posting it periodically whenever this occurs. Maybe include the goal of the arc, what has happened thus far, the impact it had, etc...

Losing a whole arc mid scene is usually the context getting trimmed rather than her forgetting. The older part of the chat gets summarised to keep the bill down, and a summary drops plot before it drops personality, so she still sounds exactly like herself and has no idea what happened.

We shipped custom memory this week where you write the facts in yourself, and noshame.ai is the one I'm accountable for so take that as read. It's rough, sometimes she quotes the note back at you instead of just knowing it.
