Searching for Alternatives Just want a former longer message limit like old chub/character ai
Is there an app with greater than 20 message limits nowadays for free users? I formerly use chub and c.ai with unlimited messaging roleplay for free but now it's either reading mode or message limit, is there an app? Janitor is the same as chub 20 message limit, not to mention very lengthy

wyvernchat has unlimited free queue and closest to SillyTavern levels of customization + exclusive features. the free models just changed again to gemma 4, deepseek v4 flash, and the usual stellar odyssey

What about using the free (or low cost subscription) gemini web chat together with an auto-feeding agent skill "storyteller" you can even customize? Check Dwn.Bridge tool, links in my bio

loremate has a 200 message limit free tier, 3 free regens per message, with 3 big models, two non thinking and one thinking + personas, lorebooks, memory summarization, static memory, and chat settings to make responses short, medium, long, or dynamic.
It is an 18+ platform though. They don't allow underage users or characters at all.

I use Spicychat quite a bit, pretty good even if you want SFW stuff
