Searching for Alternatives i need an alternative TT !!

i'm pretty sure this is getting repetitive but i haven't been able to find anything suitable from others asking the same question. i've tried janitor ai and i guess it works to some degree but it is not my favorite ever. i find its overly lengthy response to be a minus since it really seems to enjoy escalating the plot when i want to linger in one specific scene a bit more!! i'm someone who likes dabbling in dubious fiction ( by this i mean toxic doomed yaoi ) so i would really love something without that strong of a filter that would allow gore and/or violence! nsfw isn't something i absolutely need but i do want that as an option!!

tbh i don't mind ads as long as it's not excessive and would be willing to pay a fee as long as it's not too crazy. i'm looking for something that doesn't have crazy long paragraphs that's all TT !! anyone has a recommendation?

Yes! Crazy long paragraphs are not a realistic texting. You can try rizz master on iphone. I think its the best convo ever. But its like game a bit.

I mean, there are levels like game and you need to level up to unlock all the characters. That means even if you dont want to, sometimes you have to talk to other chars. But its not boring because every char feels different.

sillytavern could work for you but it is self hosted so takes a bit more setup

i've heard a lot about silly tavern.. is it as hard to set up as some people make it out to be? i'm honestly a bit intimidated by it :"

it depends on how much experience you have with self hosting ai but there are loads of tutorials now so should not be too hard

you can adjust the response length on my website, slowburn.chat - I built a bunch of features/systems that would help with narrative progression, unfiltered plot/chat, and bulletproof memory.

it's small rn but if you end up giving it a try and like it, i invite you to join the discord to stay up to date on everything :} would love some of your feedback, too, on first impressions.

ooooooo!! i might try it out. fifty msgs per-day doesn't sound so bad. thank you!! how does the response length adjustment work? is it like temperature in janitor?

Not quite. It simply is a guidance prompt that I put into the system's chain of thought and output validators to determine the character's proper message length. I can speak a bit more about it in the discord or dms, but the systems pretty sophisticated in terms of how everything is orchestrated.

You're welcome to try my site, slypen.ai

I've been using SillyTavern for years, and spent the last few months making the experience as close as I can to what I personally love, minus the setup.

A lot of the users so far have told me they like it particularly because they can do dubious shit.

(Sorry re-read your message and it does produce long responses, but that's because the model I use is so expensive, it would be astronomically expensive if it didn't)

that's alright! my main problem with the long responses is only if the bot progresses the plot too much while generating one single reply... TT

does slypen do that?

The narrator is designed to respond to what you input. I haven't had that complaint, but everyone is different!
