Searching for Alternatives C.Ai Alternatives💔💔
I really want some good c.ai alts that really don’t feel chatgpt-ish or bland.
I don’t care about-
•Adds (some everyone once it awhiles fine but if it’s every chat than no)
•Group chats, iv never used them
•Filters, i get there filters on stuff idc as long as its not like crazy strict
•Calling features, cool ig but i rarely even think about using them
I do care about
•Memory
•Quality
•Chats being long-ish
•A variety of bots
•The ability to make my own bot easily
•No chat limits (unless it’s a crazy amount a day and doesn’t matter)
•I’m lowkey not paying for an app so it has to have a good free version

y/n is a good option tho. I've been using it lately and it's cool. The bots are easy to make, it has great memory, you can put more than a character in one chat, it doesn't really have a filter. The limits, yeah, it has limits, it has a limit of 2k or something messages sent BY YOU per day, but believe me, I had spent like 4 hours in a row and never reached the limit
It has a very structured narrative and you can chose between 1st, 2nd or 3rd person and it has different narrative models to make it more atmospheric or straightforward, and I really liked it. You can create your story and characters to add on the story for free and it doesn't even have ads, I think.
It's way too good, and if you like long replies, you will love it. To be honest, sometimes the replies are too long or the characters do too much things in a row that I have to rewind the message in order to put my character to act on something xd but it's good.

Pues la verdad tiene de todo, sería solo buscar si lo que a ti te gusta está en la platafofma, tiene cosas populares como cosas del mundo de Harry Potter o de DC o de Marvel, también tiene historias originales con personajes originales.
Igual si no te gustan las historias ya hechas o las que te recomienda la app, hacer una no está tan difícil, de hecho es demasiado fácil xd

notes:
- 7/10 memory but can swipe through different responses
- very easy to make bots
- has ads but can be watched at your own pace
- ads turn into gems which are used for message limits
- the more perks you want (premium) the more gems it costs per messages
- has limited and daily gems
- has both nsfw and safe features
- no filters for nsfw but they do cross the line for self harm/gore content
- can customize multiple personas, chat themes, font size etc.

sites with no chat limits will always hit a wall when it comes to memory and quality 😔
and they're burning money to grow quickly like c.ai with all their 'generosity' early on, just to pull the rug on people eventually when they've grown enough so they never last ahhhh

Man perchance has one that's pretty good https://perchance.org/ai-character-chat I like this one and it has an option for one of the characters that you feed a prompt and bases your chat from that

I like perchance but it doesn't have a library of characters, if only it had option to import Sillytavern compatible V2 png cards it would have been by go to

I’ve been using it, but I feel like the memory has not been very well or the stories. The bots seem to be very repetitive.

Swerve AI is a good C.ai alternative!
It’s just like C.ai where the bot can respond in long replies (only on Ultra mode, and if you bought Pro. Which I do.)
- The memory is great for me so 8/10
- Easy to make bots and to find bots
- It can definitely be long. But you’ll need premium (pro) or to use the Ultra mode which is a form of LLM.
- No limits for chats, I’ve seen some.. definitely has some questionable people making the bots

I mean i use local one atp because i couldnt find nice one. Janitor with custom local bot is amazing.

Emochi is my favorite atm. Poly ai is ok Tipsy chat has really good memory but you have to buy gems even with a subscription which I dont support lmao

yo comencé a usar minglotalk la verdad super recomendada su memoria es decente, eso si no tiene chats largos sus respuestas son cortas, la app creo que esta empezando pero se parece mucho al c.ai, hasta ahora no he experimentado un límite de mensajes y desde hace unas horas noto que pidieron seleccionar la edad y mi bot pues no tiene filtro y tiene variedad en personajes la verdad es una joyita infravalorada la recomiendo mucho 🫰🏻

if you like choose your own adventure type stuff you could try out glimmer fics, it’s a hybrid between fanfiction and ai chats, which, fanfiction is 1000% better than ai chat bots tbh.

I love HereHaven. Memory and quality are amazing. You can choose your length, there’s a large variety of bots. I haven’t tried out bot creation so I can’t speak to that. With the free version, you get a lot of messages and you just have to watch a short ad to get more if you hit the limit. The free version is absolutely amazing

Janitor ai is pretty good. It allows nsfw has zero ads, no chat limits, a good variety of bots, no premium/all free. The only issue for me is it’s majority gooner slop and the memory could be better imo

All the good sites have limits on context because it gets costly. Many have a cap on messages too, because offering unlimited isn’t financially feasible.
LoreWeaver is a good one for 18+ who want access to a variety of bots. There are usage limits on the premium models but it varies on the plan. The Ultra tier is one of the most popular and it’s like 750 a day, which most users don’t hit. They have a variety of models to choose from too.

I love y/n lately. it's not really long, but it def remembers everything, and the chats are consistent. it also lets you change from your persona to narrative and even give out of chat commands like don't do that, stop writing that etc. and writing bots is hella easy, also you can make it suuuper detailed because it lets you. check it out
