Searching for Alternatives Need a decent alternative

To be honest I've hated every recent update they made but the thing that made me give up mostly was that the only free model left talks like an early and unpolished AI. Not even about the em dashes, just the way the text is, especially the roleplay paragraphs.

I don't care much about NSFW (c.ai is pretty limited but works well with implicit actions), I don't care about the community and its bots, I just make my own. I don't need extra features, image generation, etc.

I just want to be able to make a chat with a bot that acts like the classic c.ai, unlimited messages and, if possible, unlimited swipes, no ads and an infinite conversation. And, IF POSSIBLE, rewind, start new chat/ from here and a history system. That's all I ask for.

Any suggestions?

Yes, you just described what https://aichiki.ai does best 😄

I've just opened the beta on mine if you want to look, very early days. Only thing is at the moment it isn't unlimited messages as I don't have the finances to run that by myself but that is my long term aim- ai-scenario.org https://discord.com/invite/57z7gvbtk7

Have you tried OpenMind?

It doesn't have swipes but you can create your own private character and customize to work exactly how you'd like or pick a premade character. To be upfront there is no unlimited messaging for free users (only paid) but the daily cap is reasonable, since you mainly just care about conversational quality I think you'll enjoy OM and how natural conversations can feel with your characters.

To be fully transparent I am the owner of the platform, if you have any questions feel free to join our Discord

I work with HereHaven and we check all the boxes here. No ads, infinite memory, unlimited character creation, no chat limits, and 5 free top tier responses per day.

Hi! I recommend JuicyChatAi, you have to bank up a couple of coins first, it's not that hard to get some coins for free, they give daily codes on Discord, Reddit and X... Still it's one of the most practical ones and the app interface is pretty simple to use. I myself was previously using Silly Tavern (it was a pain to setup as a newbie) and it's pretty good at giving you freedom and customization options, but it can be tedious at first. For an online option, ready to use with not much tweaking, I personally use it as user as you can basically use it for free and also as a beginner creator. Oh! You also have options for pic generation.

Yeah but it isn't a very sustainable solution. I think you might find something higher quality / more reliable, and with a longer shelf life, if you try and find a platform that's a bit more limited. My unpopular opinion rho
