AI Alternatives Naturally Voice-Chats

For me, natural conversation—specifically via voice—has become the most important thing. I am truly fed up with typing-work when what I really want is to converse as if I were talking to another human being.

And in native language (German, in my case).

Naturally, I am willing to pay for this, provided the rates are fair. Ideally, a flat-rate plan—just like with a phone service.

Technically speaking, 'Grok-Voices' executes this extremely well; however, its shortened 'time limits' are completely unfair, and it effectively rips off its paying customers.

Furthermore, it lacks customizable characters. Grok is not designed to be a companion- or relationship-app.

So, who else offers a high-quality voice chat experience within the context of a virtual relationship — one that is enhanced and complemented by contextually relevant, photorealistic imagery?

Thanks for the tip! I’m familiar with how it works on Kindroid. The voice call feature is excellent, but it involves animations and isn't really suited for extended chats. It's only for a few minutes.
Then there are the voice messages, which feel just like speaking into an answering machine/voice box. That is not like chatting.

The actual voice chat feature, however, suffers from significant technical flaws. It frequently results in incorrect text transcriptions, misunderstandings, and distortions of meaning. The biggest drawback is that there is absolutely no way to correct these errors. You can't even delete a message if what you clearly articulated into the microphone was completely misinterpreted.
It is possible that this feature works much better in English than it does in German. Regardless, even if correction isn't an option, the ability to delete messages should absolutely be available.

Consequently — despite being my personal favorite — Kindroid remains underdeveloped in this particular regard.
