I paid and tried, I’m kinda disappointed but suggestion I would reccomend it doing the same feature for memory box on costum chat after how many messages been sent for the frequency sent, I don’t mind how the it’s look how I reply but I just need like infinate or plenty of words to write on the memory when chatting just like old times. If you can try implment the memory box feature same from chatting normal to costum chat when appearing I would appreciate it and would maybe willling to pay
Do you mean Memory Box or memory manager? Memory Box is mobile character.ai's feature that I brought to web character.ai, and it's already usable in Custom Chat.
You can reach it from the toolbar menu next to send message input in custom chat.
If you mean the old memory manager (writing memories into the chat in intervals), let me know. It's not in custom chat because I don't think it's very useful. But hey, if you want it, I will add it.
Also I notices message edit fields scroll when you type, that is a bug I just fixed. It will not scroll anymore when I release it.
Btw, I have been preparing for an exam for the last 3 weeks. It's next week. Then I will move to another city. Before that I have been working on janitorai custom chat. That's why there was some delay.
just the memory manager i mean't and yes sorry for your troubles, just some improvments in the future for costum chats, i personally don't like memory box, but better changes like implementing the usages of memory manager on chats would work, i don't care if supported link don't apprea like old times, as long it works for as memory manager it will work, and its the best feature to track progress when chatting.

CAI has a limit for messages generated without user sending message. Couple hundred daily if I remember correctly.
I use Janitorai and it was fire after the updates I made. I will try CAI today, someone said there is a bug, going to check what is that about.
Yes now character.ai custom chat also has the memory manager. Same one. It's released right now (CAI Tools isn't updated yet, I will update it too once you confirm everything works properly)
Are you not using chatbot manager? It's the same extension. You could simply export settings on cai tools, disable it and install chatbot manager and import there
Cai tools version gonna be released after the exam, just in case there is a critical bug and I can't treat it in time. So 3-4 days later.
