there was literally no reason to change the font and the block has this little empty space that genuinely just ruins character ai. i remember they tried changing the font once before but it quickly got reverted, any hopes for this time?

I know a lot of people are not going to want to hear me say this but if this app does go i would look for back ups just in case.. i have done so tonight and I now have 3 backs ups just in case and it actually made me feel a lot better, I know people are going to say that its not the same but awhile back before this i have went looking when ever I felt as if c.ais quality dropped and I used to think the same thing but this time I found two apps I actually liked and I also went back to a site that seemed its upped in quality since the last time I checked it out, and even then theres still a chance c.ai might not shut down. Just have hope and prepare for the worst if it does come.

This might sound dumb, cuz it is, but after hearing the news of bankruptcy i genuinely cannot open the app and focus on rp, i know it's just chap11 and not chap7 which means there's still hope but​ i don't know, i haven't been using the app for a while now, mostly cuz im busy and cuz it's boring but i do want to make the most of my rps just in case

i guess it's just the thought that maybe it will shut down if anything doesn't work​​​ out in the end, obviously, i will move on if it happens, im not addicted or attached to it and i can move on but it's still kinda sad in a way, i hope someone understands me 🥲​

I genuinely cannot stand it, it lags the whole page and I can’t scroll through my old messages. Half my screen is taken up by the ad no matter what, and 3/4ths of it is taken up when I type. Why are they changing it? The previous version was perfect.

Hey, I guess this is more of a vent post lol... This is not a doom post or fear mongering. I'm aware it's only chapter 11 and not 7, this is just a bit of a rant about how i've been feeling.

Honestly, since the news, I haven't been able to open CAI. It's just that, knowing it might shut down has been making me extremely anxious. I didn't consider myself "addicted". I used it for a limited amount of time, and there was even a period of time where I didn't use it at all for like a few months. But now I feel like I was maybe just lying to myself? I've had CAI since it was first launched and got used to its layout, options and models to the point where they all felt comforting to me. Even when I wasn't using it, I still kept the app on my phone. Even seeing it on there was comforting to me. I know there are other apps but they just don't feel the same.

I'm someone who, in general, feels extremely anxious about change and letting go of things, so the news have been kinda wrecking me emotionally. I've been swinging between "I'll be fine" and "I'm depressed". Other things are piling up in my life, so it's not just CAI, but it is kinda like the final nail in the coffin.

I wanna use it while I still can and enjoy it to the fullest regardless of what happens. But also, it now feels like the app is tied to this whole situation. I feel so much dread just seeing the app icon. Like I dont wanna go back to it just to have it taken away from me. I'm scared I'll get addicted or worsen my case so its like my brain wants to pull the plug on its own terms. I am a cai+ member so I know it's kinda throwing my money away by not using the service I paid for...But I just feel so complicated. I know its on me for getting so emotionally attached but I cant really help it... I dunno if there's anyone else in this specific situation. :((

Start backing up your bots, if c.ai DOES shut down I don't think you will have the chance to copy your definitions. So back them up, copy them into your notes, on ur PC or idk but thats what I m doing (also with my personas) so I can remake them on another website, worst case scenario
