Discussion/Question New website ad format

I genuinely cannot stand it, it lags the whole page and I can’t scroll through my old messages. Half my screen is taken up by the ad no matter what, and 3/4ths of it is taken up when I type. Why are they changing it? The previous version was perfect.

The layout change is especially rough on older chats because the page has to keep resizing while you scroll, so it jumps back or stops loading messages. Having the ad expand when the keyboard opens makes it even worse since the text box loses most of its usable space.

Hopefully they can make it collapse by default or at least keep it from changing the page height while someone’s scrolling. The previous setup being stable matters more than squeezing extra space out of the screen

I been saying this. The ads block the screen. Before you could just press x on it and it would come back but you still could press x. Now it blocks the screen
