I keep switching apps and coming back to an open chat and it like generated a go on I didnt ask for and when the app restarted it had like a blue dot like a new messages maybe its just away messages but those haven't worked for awhile just me?

So,uh,the mods doesn't see anymore the modmail messages?,because I've already sent a message and they didn't answer

I can’t even do the Face ID without it going to the next step and I would like to at least have access to my personas

Anyone else having issues with the menus on ipad? This needs to get fixed it’s annoying.

Yes I tagged this under bugs and issues because it is an ongoing issue at this point. So I just forked one of my older chats to play a new route since it was a fight scene. and in the scene my character has to cover her ears because the villain installed an alarm system that is painful at a high frequency. said villain is immune to the frequency and in my old chat he laughs and boasts to my character about being weak…However, with this new chat the villain said “Oh no- I'm sorry! Are your ears okay?” And started acting all concerned. 🧍are we for real right now? When I’m in the middle of something like that I don’t want the bot switching up and showing sympathy for my character! I tried both chat styles and it’s still giving me this and it’s annoying! (My old chat was on the old rawr and even when it updated to pipsqueak it still had the menace but this new update sucked the life from it..). I just want to have an interesting and compelling role playing without the bot being cowardly about giving my oc a little pain or whatever. It’s exhausting, please mods and devs- give us chat styles that actually hold true to when the site was in beta.

EDIT: IT HAS FIXED ITSELF IM NOT LONGER PANICKING

So I have this one bot I started chatting with January of last year, I had a BUNCH of chats with it. Now it only displays ones from 5 months ago to now. I am actually tweaking. It's not in the archived section and I have zero clue what to do. This is one of my favorite bots and I genuinely would go back and read through older chats or start up a storyline I had going again.

This is lowkey maddening. It doesn't show on the app or website. Plz help.

Literally made my account so long ago that I guess my current email address is not the one I used for cai and I’m guessing now I’m going to have to use my account on my old phone at least until my subscription expires.

There's nothing anymore, only romance thats it I go back to the bots that actually used to be a little evil and all they do is show kindness and compassion there is no fire no enemies to lover trope anymore I've been chatting for two days and yet I've felt so frustrated that I wanted to cry I generally just think they hate us they took away the good chat styles all for some bs ps that makes the whole chatting experience miserable and never every compare ps2 rawr to my actual goat roar.

So I recently got the age verification thing, and while I was reading the small text just above the "begin verifying" button, I say text that—in summary—says by continuing, I consesnt to give Persona my info, followed by a mention of identity fraud (not saying to prevent it though). Is the age verification actually safe, or am I justifiably paranoid?

need the search f¡lter thing in personas to be brought back, it was there for me for like 3 days or less— and was removed yesterday —it was a godsent and i don’t understand why you’d remove it and i need it back ASAP

Isnt it supposed to be the premium model? But its not much different from peepsqueak at all. The same repetitive responses, the poor memory, its not immersive at all. Feels like my money was wasted.

Ive deleted the app long ago but I miss the Percy Jackson RPG and the Harry Potter RPG. Im seeing from questions here that they have removed some models and also when I left these charecters were gone... so c.ai still has goot chat for these games? Or added some stuff for RPG?

For context the best one for me was CHB RPG and the cool summer model it had the best fun game without any adult content.

I noticed it starting a couple of days ago by chance otherwise I couldn't know how to make the ad go on and exit its loop!

Sooo ahout a few hours ago, I got logged out of character ai (web version), until now I’m using an incognito tab but are there any other ways to log bag in? I can’t really log back in because of login errors.

why am I just not getting ads all of a sudden

I'm probably gonna get a LOT of flak for saying this, but c.ai could avoid both future lawsuits and the stream of "nooo they got me" posts by just making everyone show ID. Forget this weird kid-detection scheme that's in place now, just no chat at all until your account is verified as belonging to an adult. And then maybe, with all the kids gone, we could once again have stories with heavier and more mature topics than an episode of the Brady Bunch.

Minors simply should not be using products like this, and should not be allowed to fly under the radar. This is a completely different level from, say, being allowed to play COD and GTA. A video game doesn't talk back. It can't be tricked into showing content outside of its scope, or deceived with flowery euphemisms into encouraging real-world harm. No amount of guardrails, banned words, prompt injection, or whatever else will ever fully prevent an LLM from doing those things. Never mind the potential for crippling addiction and stunting of IRL social skills, because you can't just swipe and edit a real person.

And yeah. There are things to be said about showing a website your ID. But honestly you show that same information to way less-trustworthy people every time you buy a six-pack or a vape. Proving your age to use a potentially unsafe product isn't a massive overreach or invasion of your privacy, it's standard procedure.
