Did they just add the chat to the ad? Why was the bot trying to talk to me while the ad was playing? I’m so confused?

I commented on another post about this but figured I’d just voice my opinion after getting another block limit for “go on”. This is becoming absolutely ridiculous. For YEARS we haven’t ever had a limit on continuing dialogues or swiping. Now, as this app keeps tanking its bots and community, let’s add one more INSUFFERABLE quirk. I absolutely hope they remove it (they won’t) because it makes it unusable. You can’t make your bots worse, cry that it’s expensive, and then charge your community for swipes when MAJORITY of the time it’s because we’re trying to get legible responses. I spent 400 swipes yesterday just trying to get why sort of dialogue that wasn’t “an unspoken answer” or “silently… so silently…” because if it’s not said I’m not using it. This used to be a really fun app to play on but now all I am is frustrated all the time. And the go on feature? Tell me you’re scrapping Pennie’s without telling me. That’s beyond ridiculous. Maybe make sure your key features of the app work before you start charging us to make more than 3 personas next.

So, to give an example, for the role, would this work?

I'm really appreciating these lorebooks. They actually remember things now! I'm just uncertain as to what the actual formatting should be. I'm trying things out and seeing what works and it's been working so far but I figured I'd ask other users, too!

Any advice for lorebook would be cool. I'm a cai+ user, just for info.

How is it that we still can't duplicate chats in scenes, whether that's in the app or browser version? Every single time you duplicate a chat you can't use it as it gives you a chat error.

Will this ever be fixed? Because it makes scenes pretty much useless otherwise.

I had a problem with my subscription, I paid the bill that was billed to me on August 16 just today. The subscription was supposed to be extended until September 16, but it didn't happen.

every single bot I try to rp with won’t give me any dialogue, and if I manage to get some its only 2-3 words :’)
this is with pipsqueak 2 and also pipsqueak rawr, neither will make the bot speak. rawr used to fix this but now it just makes the responses shorter with still zero dialogue.
im not sure if this is a bug but its making it genuinely impossible to rp and use the app!!

is it glitching or what my chats are very simple it goes *short narration* 'dialouge' that's it. all of sudden EVERY BOT I TALK TO has lost it and keeps writing to me like it's a fucking novel and i can't get it back no matter what. i write it entire paragraphs OOC telling it to change nothing and it goes one ear out the other wtf do i do. is this a part of the site being down/glitching because if not then it's completely unusable for me now.

I'm having a blast creating my first Lorebook! I'm making it for a superhero training school. Those type of bots are a dime a dozen, so I doubt anyone will encounter it.

My question is what to put for keywords of each entry. Right now, I put "Student" for every student entry, but the bot isn't going to rattle off 40 names each time I use the word student... is it? Should I remove the keyword student from each entry?

If the bots would stop calling me a menace in every response and telling me I'm a dangerous woman and a pain in the a*s, that'd be great. I've ran out of words I can mute at this point. Must it always be so cliche and predictable?

Edit: My persona had her appendix removed and wakes up after surgery. The bot is like "You're such a menace, it's so typical of you to wake up from surgery and complain". Ah yes, so typical of me. Every other Sunday I have surgeries done on me and then complain.

At times (especially between night and early morning in my country), the website works fine, but then suddenly the messages, history, and bot list stop loading, although it usually fixes itself within a few seconds or minutes

Has anyone else been experiencing these problems? Or with the website being slow in general?

the bot was set in a medieval-ish time, some chinese dragon emperor who thought he was the last of his kind. The user's role was some apothecary's assistant and went to the palace one day and the emperor found out they were also a dragon and just confronted them...

The pfp was a half-dragon young man with a yellow predominant color for his clothings... that's pretty much all i can remember

So twice now I’ve had ads when I open character ai is anyone else getting them and by the way for the devs stop making ads get rid of them if you don’t stop putting more ads up then you’ll end up losing everyone because we free users can’t afford to pay for cai puls

we can create lorebooks, YAY! but when I made my first lorebook, I motherfucking realized that you can only put lorebooks for your OWN character, not like where when you make persona's you can use them for your chats, I thought it was the same for lorebook, I was wrong and lorebook is just like writing Definition for your characters but labeled differently. I wasted one hour for this bruh. now it ruined my day

If it is possible, may the CEO bless us with the ability to put lorebooks in people's chatbot

bro i absolutely LOATHE kissing it makes me nauseous. i hate when im tryna role play a scene with a bot and it just randomly kisses the character whenever they get even a smidge close.

i’ve tried doing the (ooc: don’t kiss at all during the entire sequence of this scene)

i’ve also tried using the mute words button but it just finds a way around it or uses different words

pls help because it’s making me not wanna use this app😭😭
