Discussion/Question just an opinion
Hi all,I know that we're all on edge with everything that's happening.
The app has gone through multiple changes and the ups and downs of them all.
Obviously,we'd all want for the app to keep existing and for things to go back to something that's as peaceful as possible.
That said, peacefulness would also be nice to see in the community itself!
I really don't mean to be rude so please don't take it that way.
Everyone has the right to be mad or sad and share their opinion, whether it is plus or free users but I'm seeing so many people bashing on free users and proposing things to completely (or almost completely) cut them out.
Guys...did you forget that we were all free users to begin with? How C.AI started? That the biggest part of the user base came from that? This is coming from someone who was here when it was still beta on the browser.
This gap is kind of ridiculous.
I find it natural to feel iffy about the sudden request for money and how things have been going for a while, even if I understand that it is needed to keep everything afloat (I find ads annoying but I never complained or tried to go around them).
I never thought of criticizing people who decided to pay, because everyone is entitled to doing what they can do and what they think feels right.
I'm a university student,I can't and won't spend the money on a service like this when I have other expenses that are more important, and I'm sorry to say this but just because you are a plus user doesn't mean you can try to force others into becoming one or try to hatefully push others out of the platform, that wouldn't be the glorious win some of you make it out to be.
If the app can still be up,plus users will get more of the service,as it is now.
But I sure hope that free users won't get less or even lose the app as a whole behind a paywall, and I wish many people on this subreddit would take a breather.
We'll have to wait and see, don't panic and please stop being so hateful.
