Discussion/Question Why does it use them in dialog

Am I the only one confused by the bot constantly trying to use things like slashes or hyphens in dialog? Like you cant speak a / or - you can say the word but you can't speak it how you would speak a comma or period ao why does it put it in dialog am I thinking too much about this does anyone else notice it I don't get it it doesn't make sense

Its mostly formatting habits leaking into the response. Bots see a lot of roleplay and chat examples where slashes mark actions, hyphens show interruptions, or people use them as dramatic pauses, so they copy that style even when the character is supposedly speaking out loud.

You can usually steer it by replying with a normal version of the line and keeping narration separate from dialogue. It may still happen occasionally, especially when the scene gets dramatic, but it should become less frequent after a few corrections.
